Al Dente in powder?

I have searched but could not find any good answers.

Anyways, I am looking for a ski that can do absolutely everything, including float in powder. I will be skiing a lot of pow, but also want to be able to go all over the mountain as well as into the park. Clearly the ski does well in the park, so realistically, what is the powder performance like?

Honestly I don't see why it wouldn't ski well- 98 underfoot/133 in the nose, super soft, a ton of early rise, and light... why hasn't it had more deep snow recognition?

I tried them in some deeper snow but not on any steep terrain. They skied well though, the long nose rocker kept the front up an the camber to the tail gave you something to ski in deeper snow. They would not be a charger or super deep day ski but as a playfull powder ski they would be great.

Just bought my pair of al dentes mounted with look 14s last night. Rode them today in breck and absolutely love them. Don't know how they manage in powder yet

They might be fun in fresh soft powder but in anything chopped or slightly heavy they are going to suck if you pick up any speed.

Get something stiffer if you want to ride all terrain.

Got my aldentes mounted 4 days ago...let me tell you holy shit!!!!!!

I mounted them 1cm forward of factory recommended and they are perfect for everything!!!

They destroy all crud and choppy snow

They fly and float perfectly in powder (so far only 1 feet to 2 feet deep I have skied and they are flawless)

They are perfect for park, rails, jumps you name it

They are perfect on groomers

They butter like no ones business

GET THE SKI MAN ITS THE BEST THING EVER

And let me also add I ski fucking fastttt bro and they have not let me down once. Fucking the are way better at slaying fast really chopped up soft snow than any ski I have ever ridden. The perfect all mountain ski.

I rode some Halo 2's about 2 months ago and even they were way, way, way too soft for charging all mountain. Good in the park but I overpowered them everywhere else too easily.

Maybe consider the Alpha X as an alternative?

Where is that in relation to true centre? I'm trying to work out whether I can centre them enough to want them.

I've always centre mounted my park skis including Blends, Bacons and Halos and liked them all but al dente I'm thinking twice about. Also a 2.2mm edge is putting me off since I wreck edges.
