People on NS who I'm not particularly tight with but really respect:

*fatbastard - Not on very often, not an NS "celeb," but a really interesting guy who was there for most of the birth of newschool skiing, met some amazing people, and is totally worth sending a random message. After Shane died, we exchanged a few messages. While I (like so many) had never met Shane, he was really someone that I did (and do) look up to. Talking to fatbastard helped me to make sense of it all, and made me feel connected to Shane even though I had never personally interacted with him. Thanks.
*ON-3PO - A few months ago I was getting really torn up by this one girl. I was crazy about her, but she is very catholic and as a Jew I just didn't see how it would possibly work out. I made one of those "gosh, my life sucks" marathon threads pouring myself out, and ON-3Po took me seriously. Thanks for that, you were one of the first NS members who I felt were genuinely interested in me.
*Arabian. - Always has something worthwhile to contribute. And had that really ballin' icon a while back. Question. Are you actually from Arabia/the middle-east?

*Harvey - For he is our Father. Not invited 'cause I'm afraid to message him.
*Rowen - My favorite mod and the man who is, at this moment I'm sure, delicately hand-crafting my 181Jmos. Not invited 'cause if I actually told him about this thread I'd probably get banhammerz for posting crap in regionals.
*no_steeze + eheath - Not invited because they'd flame me.
I'm happy I joined NS, and I'm happy I met yall. Happy 1000th to me!
