because theyre fun simon, dont be gay. theres this army-navy store in whitefish montana, and i used to go to this speed series race there... and it would always get cancelled due to weather (fog and snow and stuff) so wed all go to the army navy stroe, buy little 30 dollar automatics or pistols and have epic battles in the little cabin/condo things we were staying in. it was so intense... ahhhh back in the day.

ok, right now I have a damn ass good spring pistol. i got it off e-bay fro $20. it holds 20 rounds and it is the most accurate spring pistol I have seen. I am also getting a spring MP5 soon. It is important that you don;t buy crap when it somes to airsoft. (and beleve me there is alot of crap out there!) mosr of the spring rifles that are 30 or under are shit and will brake in 2 days. most of the pistols 15$ and under are shit and will brake in 2 days (or simply be tarrible innaccurate) and recwolfairsoft.com has GREAT product but shipping is really bad considering it is based in hong kong or somthing.

airsoft is tight me and all my friends play it and we all think paintball is better but airsoft is just so much cheaper and you can play it almost anywhere. If your going to get a gun id deffently reccomend the mp5 to start out i think its the most accurate/powerful gun for under 100$ heres a link to a site that has some prices on airsoft guns....www.airsoft128.com...or...www.shortyusa.com

 
airsoft is more real? ever heard of RAM? obviously, you haven't. it's paintball guns, but they are excactly like real ones --> they have 20 round clips that eject shell after each shot. they're a little expensive (around $450 i believe)

I beleve airsoft can be just as fun as paintball. (you guys do know that you can get an automatic airsoft gun don't you? also some of the guns can be plenty powerfull, there is this move where this guy gets shot in the back a bunch of times and each spot he gets hit there is a 'crator' about 1/2 the volum of each bb. alot of people thinkit is not as fun as paintball becuase it is less powerfull/doesn;t hurt as much/not as long range and all this is not ture...

when i was like 17 my neighbor called the cops on me and my best friend. using an AIR15 (bb gun replica of an assault rifle), our neighbor thought we were 'terrorists' and reported this to the police (after sept 11th, people really paranoid) who showed up to our house with flak vests and tek-9's drawing looking for 'a crazy kid with ana ssault rifle', we explained what happened, and the cops laughed their asses off...lucky for me one of the cops was my assistant varsity football coach

personaly I would rather buy a paintball than an airsoft... and for realism police corps use paintball not airsoft and you can buy replica of gun in paintball one of my friends has a mp5 replica and another has an m4 one

so I'll keep my tipman 98 custom and won't buy airsoft
