Airsoft

i wanna get more into it

all of my friends have nice guns but my parents are totally "anti- guns" people and they don't understand the difference between an airsoft gun and a nine mm.

whenever i try to expalin that they aren't dangerous, and they shoot little plastic balls they just give me that blank stare and restate that they" don't want any guns in the house" as if im gonna start a gang war of something
 
I have a Marui VSR 10 g-spec upgraded to 550 fps. Thats with .20 grams, with .30 grams it shoots around 510.
 
I have never actually played a game, but I do own a fully auto Mac 11 w/ two 50 round clips. It runs off of green gas.
 
yeah, they should call them airsoft plastic accelerators, and then maybe parents would give them a second chance.

My cousins are really into, one of them just dropped $400 on the sweetest gun ever. It's almost completely metal, and it's heavy.

haha i have the same exact problem, all my friends have all these nice guns and shit, buts its usually ok cuz they let me use theirs most of the time, but i want to get my own
 
JEA!!! I love airsoft... That is until some redneck fuck thought they were real guns, and I ended up with a drive by shooting felony charge. Pllus, they took all my guns, gas G22, gas M93RII, and AEG MP5 SD5. FUCK THE POLICE
 
that is a sick dragonov. I snipe sometimes, and I'm dece at it, but not good enough to consider buying a dragonov
 
i got the whole parents situation too, but i had a p99 that a friend gave to me for my birthday. i also bought a pump shotgun, which i keep at a friends house.
 
i play airsoft a lot, its way better than paintball, and not cheap. Games can be real fun when you get large headcounts. anyone who wants to get more info about it in the new england area check out www.neasg.org (north easter airsoft group)
 
those things hurt when they hit you really close. people used to shoot me with them when i was skateboarding and shit.. ive never liked them ever since.
 
your all going to grow up someday and be pissed at yourself for buying a $400 plastic gun.Put that in the bank and throw rocks the the older crowd used to do. Rocks are way more fun.
 
what makes paintball any more "legit?" I'm not saying I don't like it, cause I've played paintball for like 4 years before I even discovered airsoft. But I find that airsoft is more intense when I play, and uses more tactics, where as paintball is more "spray and pray"
 
One day at the store my friend and I saw two guns for 14 dollars. So we bought them and we just use them to fuck around with eachother.
 
yea they are pretty fun, we tool around with them in my buddies basement, he has three pistols and an auto
 
I've paintballed for a long time, and I want to get into airsoft. can anyone tell me a good starter set of equipment?
 
I have played airsoft for a while. One time a buddy and I were playing at his house and I lit him up with about 8 shots. He got pissed and shot his rifle at me and I caught the bb in the corner of my mouth. Playing airsoft is fun if you have a lot of people and a big area to play. Forrests are great places to play.

i used to play then i dropped my airsoft gun in the sandbox so i took it apart and now i cant figure out how to get it to work again
 
yah Ive got two pistols, ones a hop-up, real accurate with .2g bb's. Airsoft is so fun, easy to play, and not really dangerous. You cant ell when you hit someone when they go "FUCK"
 
I love airsoft! it's like paintball which I used to play till my emag got stolen, cept it's wayyyyyyyy cheaper and you can play in way more places and it's easier to get friends and shit to get into it. so much fun.
 
yea, it stings like a bitch. Well, depends on how far away you are, but you can feel it though a coat. And most people jump or flinch when they get hit too, so if you're looking it's easy to tell. mostly just honor system tho. If you don't lie to your friends, then they won't lie to you. and if they do, bad things happen
 
a friend who's in the army is so obsessed with it! in one week he bought like 6 or 7 guns. granted some of them were just small cheap ones, but they still work for sure. he has two sniper rifles too or whatever they're called. there's plastic bullets all over my friends house from when we had indoor airsoft games haha
 
damn, airsoft got me into trouble today. turns out the guns w/o orange tips aren't the best toys to be playing with on Cornell's campus. If I had gotten caught tomorrow though (11/19) then i would have been in way deeper shit b/c i would have been sixteen. I got lucky.
 
515 does not pierce skin. I had my buddy shoot me with my VSR 10 from about 30 away with no shirt on and it didint pierce skin. And Dragonov's are wayyyy overhyped. This kid who we sometimes play with has one and my VSR 10 outshoots it easily. Its such a waste of money. Just buy a VSR 10 and upgrade it
