I have a JG Bar-10. Stock it gets 400 fps with .2g bb's

after i modded it it got about 450 fps with .2's for a long time. i havent used it in awile and just shot it again with .2's and it shoots so slow that if shot level the bb falls to the ground in about 15'. i've adjusted the hop up and i am getting no effect. The spring/cocking feel feels the same as before so i am really confused. The bb's load just as consistently too.

yeah, i mean before it could shooth through the top/both sides of a aluminum can. now it barely dents it.

used to be accurate to like 250' on a 1'x1' area too.

if you kept the spring compressed the entire time then that would explain it. the spring mustve lost power cause you kept it cocked or if its an AEG then you didnt discharge it correctly.

this was my first thought. it is a SPRING bolt-action gun. however, this occurance has arisen after the end of the storage period, as in when i first used it it worked fine even after storage at first. this makes me think it is something else.

ok everyone. it just needed to be lubed. i sprayed some silicone lubricant in the inside of the cylinder and it shots around 515 fps with .28 bb's.

which is ridiculously fast. it would be like 600 fps with the .12 crap bb's.
