Airplane Camera Test - FAIL

Attempted to fly my RC airplane with the camera mounted. We didn't even bother to make sure the wheels were hidden as this was just a test...
But as we threw the plane into freedom....

Gravity Struck :(
Still not sure what wen't wrong. I think something may have shorted out. The plane has flown fine before.

We Utahn's are tough! Haha IDK why he was wearing shorts. Funny thing was we made him go get it.
And as far as the weight issue... I don't think that was the case... Could very well be. But I've attached a bulky camera on here before with not any problem.... Hmmm.

Then may have been a problem with mounting point and from the looks of it you mounted it in the front bottom, thus pushing the center of gravity to the front and inhibiting lift

Could be that as well. It did nosedive... But I've never had the motor just TURN OFF like that. I mean... I didn't even try haha. However I took instructions from others and mounted it where most others with this model have had success....
Maybe it was too much weight in the front??? Maybe mounted to far forward???
I'm hoping none of these are the case as that would mean needing a whole new set up.

Had brand new batteries put in 5 minutes before for the radio transmitter and had charged the battery to the max a few hours prior. I seriously doubt this was a battery error. Plus all the other components still worked fine, the flaps all were completely operational afterwards. Just the motor that gave up on me.

Its been cold in florida, saw it go to 0 overnight haha.

If you get that working the footage would be so damn sick.

defintley the mounting point had something to do with it. but i mean it sounds like the engine shorted out right when u let go too.
