AirBnB/VRBO age policy in Oregon

Well I been lookin like a madman for places to stay for spring pass at Hood in may. Around Govy. The handful of places that I’ve applied to that are within my budget require 25 year olds or older. I’m not even close to that age. One of the places was through AirBnB, another was thru VRBO. Anyone know if this is a statewide legal thing? Or would me and the homies be better off finding a cheap motel to stay at? Thanks NS encyclopedia.

Nobody wants to rent a place to a degen 13 year old.

True. Hopefully they wanna rent it to a degen 19 year old who’s actually a super responsible drunk.

Surely one of yall's parents would be willing to trade cash for them to book an airbnb. Just find one with contact less entry

Thinkin bout this. Lots of hosts like to spy on the pad tho, either by living at a nearby property or security cameras.

At a buddy's bachelor party we got a cabin and the first time we tried to cop they denied us. We called back and got our salesmen buddy to tell them it'll be about a dozen guys touring the area with the local church's choir and got the place no prob. I ended up shitting myself that night from drinking so much I think. Fun times. Other than that I don't have any real advice besides lie maybe? idk. Once you start pushing 30 you start realizing like yeah I get not wanting to rent shit to 19 year olds lmao

There's a lot of camping around hood. Even as earmy as march you can camp down the hill further a bit and still be like 20 min from town.

Save your $$ for food or your bar tab

Yeah might do this I’m just a germ freak and like having a place to wash/dry clothes and shower. Worst comes to worse we do this.

So you are a germ freak and want to stay in some random person's property that probably hasn't been cleaned properly in months?

at least from my experience AirBNBs have always been super clean. I stayed in one in bend last year and they even had chocolates on the pillows n shit

Mane you're gonna have to accept that fact that pretty much everyone camps and doesn't shower cause its free and you'll be spending most your money on food booze and ganja

Literally what I hate most about riding lifts with people in spring at T-line.

Oh look another privileged white boy looking to spend his time as a "ski bum" spending his parent's money on an airbnb instead of camping in the woods like everyone else.

There's a laundry spot in town off a restaurant. 2 bucks to wash 2 bucks to dry.

Also can grab some food or beer in town while your stuff is in there.

I would just shower at my camp usually.
