Air to butter, coolest thing ever?

so i watched a snowboard movie (i think it was More) where a snowboarder does a wheelieish butter down the whole landing after catching air, and i was thinking maybe a skier should try it. Well, low and behold, there is a sickhard one in the F in Life by Montage Inc (not too sure who it is though) What does everyone think of this absurdity, and who was the stuntman who accomplished this feat first?

you see it can be done after many features. you can butter maybe after a 7 really fast or snap a nose 3 after coming out of a rail reg. just make sure it looks flowy and feels right.

You're thinking of the snowboarder in the travel segment of DC MT Lab. and the skier in "The F In Life" is Garret Russell I believe.

i don't understand how you would do that or practice doing that w/o blowing ur acl.

I would think a lot would depend on the jump, it'd prob have to be perfect for it

^oops im talking about the butter where you would straight air the jump then land on the knuckle in a tail press then 180 over most the landing. i forget where i saw a huge one and was like whaaaaaaaa

yeah thats where i saw it, man i would never try a larger one of those for the fear of re-tearing my knee apart.

sick shit now who else can do it? haha, whos gonna 3 out of that firrrrrrst????

There was a video of Pollard on the Line website last year where he jumps onto a box and lands in a nosebutter and slides the nosebutter all the way down the box, it was truly sick. I'd think you could do this on small jumps with flat landings.

it really isnt that hard to imagine. it would have to be a stepover, hit it a little slow, do a 180 kinda corked, land on top of the knuckle, and there you have it. make sure you land on your tips and spin out of it

^yes yes yes been wanting to see that for such a long time. one of those step up, step down things w/ a big box of snow in the middle, cept instead of just landing on it like ive seen, someone should nose press across the whole thing then spin out, youd have to have so much speed haha

i think im the only one who didnt see what you are all talking about in that clip, all i saw was a guy on anthems pull a like a 360 but land on his tips at 180 and butter the rest of it. now that was sick...
