sorry for the confusing title, i didnt know how else to describe it. aht i want to know is whether or not all of the hoses for air compressors have the same size screw on thing at the end. for instance, do some hoses have 1' diameters and others have 1/4' diamaters? thanks

on most hoes it will tell you the connection size you want 1/4 for the esayed way to connect to a gun if ur using 1/4 pipe thats what most people use

 
They usually are about 3/8in or 1/4in on the end. I recommend using quick connect settings for the air and you can get both pieces (1 for the gun and one for the hose) at home depot in any size/shape you want. They are hella cheap too. That way you can unhook/hook the air hose quickly and easier! They should be in the section with the air compressors/hoses etc.. with the hardwares stuff.
