Whatsup y'all.

Booked my first airbnb recently for denver/ and summit county in a couple weeks. For those who have done it how has it been?

Im going to be in Denver for the national championship game and was planning on going out with some friends and obviously drinking probably a lot. Do most hosts give you a key to the house/apartment? Or do you have to be in/out by certain time periods at night? Never have done this before so im curious.

In a city near me people rented a house on air BNB and threw a massive orgy in the house, pretty much destroying it.

Well im staying with one friend and were pretty responsible humans. I guess that answers my question though. I hope to get a key to the house so I can come and go as I want and not offend anyone if I show up wasted

I have used air bnb a few times. I usually just rent a studio for my wife and myself but have also rented entire houses for large groups. The owner usually emails you a week before the stay and tells what time you can check in, where the keys are, house rules, etc. I have had some great experiences and have found most of the owners to be really friendly.

I'm doing it in NYC this weekend. Going to hook up with my friend(that's a girl) and see some music. A lot of my friends have booked before. I've visited places but I've never stayed in a place or really known the scoop.

Seems like it's pretty sweet. All my friends love it.

well, airbnb is independent people renting out their place so everyone's experience probably varies pretty greatly. Best bet is to just ask your host those questions before you book, each one may have different rules or whatever.

this.

also depends on whether or not you rented the entire house/apartment or just a room. Ive rented houses and apartments from them before and never had a problem. Host usually meets us, gives us a quick walk through/run down of things and then that's it.

I've rented rooms in a house and the people are usually chill. Not sure if you are renting a whole unit or just a room but they probably don't want overnight guests.

I use Air BNB all the time, but I always get a place for myself. Aka, an apartment, the whole house, etc. All with great experiences.

I've used it a number of times and have always had great experiences. The owners have all been super friendly, places have been clean, and you can find some sweet deals too.

definitely seems like one of those things where reading the reviews and stuff would pay off. a few of my friends have done it in various cities and never complained about any problems

Just send it... 10/10 would do again.

People get paid, by you, to use a house or apartment, that they aren't using.

They're happy because they get paid. You are happy because you have a place to crash.

In business, that's called a win / win agreement.

It was pretty chill, only rule was don't fuck shit up. As long as your not throwing a banger or blazing a fatty inside then you're fine to do whatever you want... Or maybe blazing a fatty is chill

I'm about to use Airbnb for the second time in NYC this weekend. Last year, I did an Airbnb in NYC as well and the experience was awesome. We picked a nice apartment in Harlem that had roof access and a balcony which was important to me cause I like to partake in the maryjanes plus hang out on a roof in NYC. I also picked it because of its proximity to the subway the ease of getting there. So I did some research. The communication with the host was great. It's a little weird being in someone else's apartment but it was clean and felt homely quickly. Just work out any questions and concerns with your host prior to staying like the bed/blanket situation.

Be careful with cleaning fees, security deposits or paying more for extra guest. If you pick the right place, you'll have neither of these. Enjoy!

I'm doing it at the end of the sem! going to montreal! never used it before, going to be fucked up the whoole time. I hope airbnb is okay with that.

Just booked flights to Iceland at the end of September with a bunch of friends. Probably going to rent a flat for the week in Reykjavik through Airbnb. I'm not sure you can get a much better deal than through them.

So stoked though.

Avoid the touristy areas...they just plain straight up suck. Also get a lot of blow so you can go the entire weekend without stopping. The play is rage friday night, brunch saturday, afternoon drinking, all night, sunday brunch

I know skiierman. Claim fest 2016

I've been to NYC a bunch, I'm not really getting my tourist on at all. Going down for the next tomorrow through sunday afternoon to see some concerts. Usually would get a hotel in Jerz and take the trains in but my friend found this and booked it for us.

There probably won't be a break from drinking the whole time. And nobody will be stopping. Seasoned ragers.

I've never been to the first venue but the second is the mokia/bestbuy/now playstation at times square. So we''ll be crossing through there. Might wonder the city a bit but for the most part we're just going to kick it in the apartment and get down.

word...if you're looking for a wicked brunch spot check out Baracca in the west village...think its on bank st or close to it.

Probably my favorite brunch in the city. Make an RSVP though a day before. 2 hour unlimited sangria (multiple flavors all awesome)...super cool area of the city, and the food is great. All for like $60 bucks or so.

I'll see what everyone else is doing. I'll probably be to hungover to peronally make it happen, but if other people are down I'll tag along. That said a few of us (myself excluded) are pretty bangin cooks so there's a good chance we'll in house it all.

I'll let ya know if we check it out though

My friend stayed at one in Greece a few weeks ago and the host gave him weed. It sounds like a solid experience to me.
