AIM triton

I wanted to stab myself in the eye when I sued it.. never again will I touch it.
 
does anyone know how to create a profile with AIM Triton? I'm real used to the old versions and i can't effing find it.
 
yeah i downloaded it but i dont know about it. I have had it for about a month and its kinda annyoing sometimes. the setings and stuff are so much different from the old one. the coolest part is when all the im chats oopen in one window
 
Just go to Edit, then midway on the list click "My Buddy Info" and you should be set

- What I like about it -

You can have all your instanst messagings in one window.

Transfering files are pretty cool, and super easy. Don't know if this was an option on the last AIM, but its cool with this one.

- What I don't like -

It uses a lot of the system resources, or at lest it runs really bogey on my machine.

It makes you have to put AOL explore on your machine, and thats something I don't want on it.
 
its so fuckin weird.. i tried it when it was in first beta testing and it wasnt even close to this besides how it looks
 
is there any way to download the old one? I just got a new computer and im afraid to DL the new version cause i dont want to have my computer infested with AOL shit.
 
i downloaded it and hated it so i downloaded trillian and then got the crack so now i have the pro version and now im hoping that ill be happy with it now

aim should go back to the old school style when it was simple

how do you check who talked to you when you go away? it just says Ims recieved-3 and it doesnt tell me who sent them
 
if its anything like the old one once u return from away the chat boxes from them should appear with what they said to you.

uhh... anyone know if i can possibly get the installer for the older version somewhere?
