AIM Hacker BEWARE!

So in the past couple months me and a few friends have gotten owned by some AIM hacker. Just to let you guys know. It started with me just talking to one of my friends like I always do. The convo started with her saying her heater was broken and goin off making the house hot. Then we talked about my girlfriend, WHICH SHE BROUGH UP. Like "How are you and Emily?" And lots of stuff. Then I got a message from "AIM Alert Msg 05." Saying something about new email hacking stuff that's out and they need my email address and password to make it safe. And I'm like "Ha, whatever, I'm not stupid." Then I tell my friend about it and she's like "Oh, its ok my uncle works for AOL and said it's actually legit. We did that last week." She said she called him to make sure. So, I'm like, "Hmm maybe I guess it's chill." So I give them one of my addresses and passwords and it gets blocked out for like 10 minutes. They must have changed the password, and said, "Ya, you won't be able to log in while we update it."

So it all finishes and shit and I get my email address back. Then I check all my other passwords to sites and they're all legit still. Then I notice I can't log into Facebook, and my actual facebook thing is gone. So, I'm like "Bastards." Even till now it looks like all the did was take my facebook.

Now, today I found out that a few of my friends actually talked to people on their buddy lists who said their heaters were messed, and when they got the AIM thing, their "real" friends said it's cool, their uncle works for AOL. Also, the "real" friend KNEW shit about us. Like brought up things about skiing with me, and knew our girlfriends and shit that was going on.

So this is just a heads up. For my girlfriend, the "real" friend was the screenname of one of her real close friends, and they had really personal convos about shit, and now she feals really bad telling a stranger all that stuff. So, make sure you are ACTUULLY talking to your friends when you talk to people online.

2 things Ive said to myself when I read this:

1-You watch too much MTV because you sound like a 12 year old girl

2-WTF are you talking about? All I understood was you got hacked through an AIM virus

Wait a sec, how the fuck does the "real friend" know personal shit about you BEFORE they've actually hacked you?

Same thing I wanna know. I guess the hacker could have watched our real convorsations for a while before they decided to pretend to be someone from our uddy list. Then they could know about our lifes.

And I apologize for typing like a 12 year old girl. It's kind of a hard situation to explain, because I don't really get how it happened. Long story short: I recieved a message from "AIM Alert Msg 05," and "AOL worker." Then I told my friend who I was talking to on AIM at the time about it, and they said, "Ya, it's ok, my uncle works for AOL and it's real." Now I realized my "friend," who I was talking to like normal, was part of the hack. And this exact thing happened to 4 other people I know.

yea thats gay shit. better than what happened to me though. but i was totally dumb there. i was talkin gto a friend and then he said 'do you care if i put this pic of us on facebook?' and im like what one

then thers a lin like www.photobucket.com/photo-954643 or something so i click. its like could not find an application to open with. so heres where i was a dumb fuck. im thinkin oh maybe its just like a weird image format. open it then my buddy list sent the same thing to all my buddys automaticallly and i got screwed. PC totally fucked. so many viruses detected. i would delete them on my spyware program then id get an alart that they were back and shiot. had to reformat the HDD twice.

that might not have made any sense...

im sorry but you are stupid, you should Never give anyone your password or anything over the internet, ever, even if they 'claim' to work for a certain company

I'm fine, becasue I gave an email address that I never use nad really doesn't matter. That wasn't really my main point of the story.

The bad thing is that one of my friends was talking to another one of their friends online, and just messing around. Just two girls having a normal convorsation and being bored, apparently one of the girls sent the other a pic of herself topless, joking around. So my friend sent one back. That was about a month ago. Now she just realized that she never had that chat with the other girl. The other girl didn;t even know about it. So now, some sick fuck has a topless picture of one of my friends (who is only 17 still).

Why the fuck do girls send topless photos of each other to each other just to "mess around?"

sounds like lesbian butt secks to me...

didn't take the time to see if anyone answered this yet, but it's pretty easy. You get hit with a trojan virus, they can observe everything you do on you comp (including personal conversations) then they hit you with another AIM virus and recite the shit you've told your friends as evidence for legitimacy.

Yeah, it all sucks, but on a more important note. Now that I am home from the theatre, where the hell did the Cloverfield monster come from? I need to know what happened after! I'm going nuts!

my bad guys

but really, how did said pedo have a topless pic to send to the girl in the first place to get a response titty pic?

yeah dude i got that too, probably from gray right? it pissed me off so much, my computer got slayed with spyware and shit its still not fixed.

that happned to me a couploe times but it didnt do anything. i just got teh link with the person saying that that i knew. i guess it wasn't meant for macs?

read this:

Never, Never, Never, Never, Never, Never, Never, Never, Never, NEVER give out your username and password out no matter who asks for it or who says it's legit.

thats hella weird. i didnt understand the part about the "real" and stranger friend. like how did a random hacker know shit about you??

guy probably hacked their internet and from that hack you can access and see every conversation that a person has on aim or emails sent and shit like that.

you would think if someone was smart enough to hack peoples internet they wouldnt use it to look at conversations of teenage girls and maybe make some money off it?
