if you have att go with the iphone. its fuckin sick. the monthly price is the same as blackberry and other smart phones, and you get a phone, an ipod, the internet, email, any application you could ever imagine in a device that fits in the palm of your hand.

yeah i have the iphone and it is like the best thing ever. check newschoolers during school. listen to music. find where you need to go when you are lost. watch the new hot lunch trailer from joystick. and play sick games like papi jump and cube runner it does not get much better than that
 
def go with the iphone. i have one and its amazing. i totally recommend it. ipod, internet, phone, good camera, everything.
 
i love the iphone for the Apps, like i have an ipod touch and its sick. but if you text at all i would go with the LG Dare with verizon. i can text just as fast on it as i could with my old phone (physical keys). its just suuuper easy they did a great job on developing the texting.
 
I wanted an Iphone 3g but heard there was a 66% return rate and that there's an overload of users so the network is constantly failing and the internet doesn't work. Don't bitch at me if you have on that works fine, because you are among the 44%.

I have verizon and went with the Lg Voyager, new software update makes it sickk, everything I could hope for.
 
the service provider doesnt really matter. And i would go with the 3g iphone but, the 3g network is really spotty and i think i would break it the first day i had it. but im definitly thinking about it. sorry to anyone that is selling, but i want to buy new. thanks for all of the help. any other suggestions?

if i were you i would go with verizon, go to the store give them a price range and they will hook you up, and you get to play around with the phones and see which ones YOU like best, not everybody else. plus verizon is about to have the nations best service because they just bought alltel i believe.

blackberry is pretty cheap on their website too, im bout to get that phone. super practical, i phone is a fad, 4 of my buddies have them and their shit never works... internet is slow as balls and a shit ton of dropped calls
 
i just upgraded to a "glyde" not the best phone, but so far i like it... super small (about as small as a "razor")

i got mine for 30$$ so i would check it out if you want to stay on a tight budget.....
 
Get the Motorola W385 from Verizon dude, it balls hard.

check the moto q9c from sprint... only 100 bucks with new service and super sick phone with windows mobile, gps and all that other great stuff plus super good battery life.

get a cheap one that has really big buttons so you can drunk dial easier. Alls i use mine for is to call and text occasionally so it works out well and companies don't seem to care so much about giving you a new $100 phone instead of an iphone
 
dont get the iphone, it sucks. they say its the newet technology, its NOT. I work fot att, i know. You cant even send a mms to another phone,. batt life sucks also. you wanna real phone go with blackberry. there sick and they dont break easy. or wait till oct 2nd and get the blackberry bold, that phone will make the iphone look to stupid.
 
dude forget about all these fancy phones. All you need is the basic free one that comes with whatever plan you get.
 
alright im just gonna throw touch screens out tha window. Im way to hard on my stuff. it would never last. a full QWERTY would be nice.
 
i got mine with qwerty, its a double flip i got it for 30 bucks (worths 280) but i had 250$ off cause i had a 3 year contract, idk if you can get that kinda deal
 
I have the Motorola Rokr and its pretty sweet, i like it a lot not sure if you like sliders a lot but here is what it looks like...the camera quality on it is better than any other phones i have ever seen, but pics dont really matter that much

careful with blackberrys, the bills are a pain in the ass. it's a lot more expensive per month to keep a blackberry, despite the price you pay for the actual phone.

if your hard on your shit, get the verizon gzone or w/e its basically waterproof, shock resistant... military tested so you should be straight with that.
 
i had never had a fone with a keyboard till my new one i just got. its the glyde. and i have to say. its quite nice. id deffinatly go for something with the full keyboard
