They had a second retreat planned for next week at the Ritz Carlton. They cancelled the retreat because of outrage but still have to pay The Ritz hefty cancellation fees...
I wish I could find the story, but there is a story of a employee of AIG after the retreat who was working out in the company Gym and went over to a higher up and punched him in the face. So funny.... It was talked about all my office yesterday. Also has anyone see the AIG compound in Texas. It is crazy, they have there own transportation system, cafes everywhere... it is like a little city
"Having been at large global companies and knowing what condition AIG was in ... the absolute worst thing that could have happened" would have been for employees and underwriters in its life insurance subsidiary to flee the company.
yeha it was schedualed months ago, and if canceled they would of had to pay 80% of it anyway. might as well through a going out bash. they would have gotten just as much shit if they cancled and paye dfor it to. people would have been look at them wasting money they already pay for this thing then cancled
