Aiding the needy

Hey NS, Quentin Here. i was driving around Seattle today and it was pouring and cold, like ive never seen. while driving i drove by a park with a bunch of kids on it without jackets and torn up clothes.

then i thought to my self how can we help these kids this winter so they can stay warm on their way to school (low income families) since we are going to have a very wet and cold winter.

WE CAN GIVE THEM JACKETS

okay i know some of you have extra jackets (as i see the ridiculous amount of jiberish some of you have) that are probably laying around your house never being used.

i am not asking you to give up your barely used saga or north face jacket

THIS IS ALSO FOR OUTERWEAR COMPANIES

i know there are always extra jackets in boxes somewhere, and i understand wanting to make maximum profits, its business, but maybe spare 3-4 jackets and thats 3-4 kids who we can help out

RECOMENDATIONS

-any jacket size

-not ripped

if you are interested PM me and well figure something out to help these foster/homeless kids stay warm this cold winter!

being homeless in the weather(or in seattle in general) would suck. to bad i actually only have one waterproof jacket.lets get a bus and take them to cali southpark style.

one a more serious note i feel like this would be a sick idea

Damn. That was an awful sentence.

Just make sure you have a plan and know what you are going to say to the owners beforehand. Have to make sure it isn't an eyesore in front of the business. A friend of mine did this for his senior project. You could have a coat drive at a local place. Just make flyers and ask local radio shows to advertise for you. Put some ads in the newspaper advertising it. Very doable in my opinion. He had over 100 jackets, coats and gloves, and got rid of about all of them. Whats left over you can take to a local thrift store.

Yes, but I think this thread is OP's "bin," NS is the "restaurant," and we are the customers/donators.

thank you man, i like your positive feedback, i am really trying everything i can i am trying to talk to all my connections and branch out as far as i can to get the maximum
