Just wanted to share this here. There was a thread about Dadalis social media game a while ago, couldn't find it anymore... The whole covid conspiracy stuff was/is already very very boarderline but now with this post (he deleted it 2h later) it is definitely too much. I don't know how his sponsors can still stand behind him and keep their mouth shut. This went waaay too far!

I don’t know how sponsors keep him too. I posted in the other thread about this whole “nazis in Ukraine” thing Russia keeps saying, in reference to Asov. Ironic when Russia is bombing Babyn Yar and literally has a neo nazi mercenary unit under the Wagner group called Rusich

Not sure about this specific story, im waiting till i know more to form much of an opinion on Russia, mad propaganda on both sides.

His stories he posted just before that are on point, all his shit on covid has been mostly spot on.

Was talking to him on insta. Sorta acted like I was interested, and I was because I feel like some people can be broken out of the pipeline if their cognitive dissonance isn't pointed out in a screaming leftist sort of way.

He sent me some crazy conspiracy shit, and it was going fine, but the second I brought up very politely that "hey these things you are saying seem to contradict other things that you say, what do you think about that? Seems like there is some selection bias" In Some of the sources he sent me he clearly only read the title because the content directly contradicted what he was saying. I was immediately ghosted after that.

There's a reason he only posts it on his story and never someplace that people can reply publicly. Unironic psychosis. He's living in a world adjacent to ours and doesn't want to be challenged in any way.

Note-This was over his posts on how ventilators kill people, as in he was saying that ventilators are "death sentences" and do not help.

Reading that letter is so blatantly untruthful. It's written by a child with a thesaurus looking up words that means war it's horrible. Sometimes I don't think conspiracy people even read what they post they just repost things from other conspiracy people it's embarrassing.

Ultimately though I honestly pity this guy. We live in such a digital age, there’s no shortage of the evidence of the destruction and devastation happening in Ukraine. And I’m talking about personal accounts, not news articles. So to say something like this (to his many followers) strikes me as pretty out of touch and lacking in compassion all together. Tbh sending this dude vibes and love because it seems like he needs it

Not saying Rusich aren't neo-Nazis, but Azov Battalion is very openly so, from their insignia down to their expressed ideology. They can both be fascists, even if the Azov ones are repelling an actual invading force instead of a perceived Jewish one right now.

Anyway, you hate to see it. I remember listening to an interview with Ahmet on the Powell Movement a few years back and he seemed pretty down-to-earth. Like somebody else said, he's definitely not the only pro skier who's out of touch with reality. The fact that X_Ankilla can do chairlift interviews with pros is wild. On the other hand, I've heard from somebody I trust that he used to room with Goepper during the summer at Mount Hood.

Lol, like half of us already unfollowed him bru. He's an icon of the sport that we love and he's clearly going through a mental breakdown and posting some pretty alarming shit, so yeah - we're talking about it.

And because you're obviously Giray, or someone who knows Ahmet - let him know that while, yes these posts are shitty and cringey and insensitive, (and blatantly wrong), I think the vast majority of us still care about his wellbeing as a person. I saw these and was more-so thinking like "damn someone needs to help this dude" rather than, "lets ostracize him from skiing"
