DOUBLE POST

but i met 2 NSers at the skiis and bikes shop in Mississauga today, they helped me fit my boot! Thanks for the help guys :) Hopefull you will see this shoutout.

these will probably be really soft, short cuffed, and ski terribly if you're normal sized yet with small feet
but maybe you're just a small person

I have really small feet too and when i was a beginner i was stoked to get cheep boots too, however, it was not long before I broke them cos i was too big and skied too aggressively for a weak soft boot like that. Sorry to tell you this, but perhaps if you hven't used them or something you can take them back and get an exchange for some small mens boots or some womens ones if you have to, i had to.

i have mad small feet and im a little over 5'3 and a boot that size would go too low on me. i dont think your gonna like skiing in those.

Broke them how?

I wish i hadnt made this thread, kinda unstoked now if i have to return them.. i swear they fit fine though. They feel like the other boots i have worn before.

Yeah, your main issue will be the length of the cuff. As a kids boot, it will assume it is made for a shorter person, much shorter than 5'6", and as a result, you won't get nearly enough support for knees/ ankles etc. But also, power transfers from body/ leg to boot, then to the ski will be less efficient, making turns difficult.

conversly, if he were to go to the kaos, he would have no way of flexing the boot without cutting the crap of the lower cuff.

i got my boots huge and for $5 about 4 years ago at a ski swap. still using them this year

Hey that was me that fitted you. Just so everyone knows, when i measured his feet they were a 23.5 I double checked with a superior and suggested to stay with the kaid, plus i do not believe that we had any kreations or kaos in his size. I was just doing what i was told and trying to help out our customer, I hope you are satisfied with your purchase, oh and sorry for taking so long with the helmets, just wanted to make sure if we had the helmet you wanted.

Hope you had a good experience.

Hahah hey man. Sick you saw this. Thanks alot, great service no doubt. I really have no problems with the boots, just these guys. You guys did fit me, and they did not, so i suppose that you would have the better opinion, plus your superior. And no problem about the helmets. Definitely good that you spent time trying to look for it.

I hope this doesnt damage the reputation of Skiis and Bikes, THEY ARE DEFINITELY LEGIT! No lie. Do not be turned off. Sorry if i got you in trouble or something man. Like i am really sorry. full karma for your excellent service.

i over flexed the cuff too much so it bent out of shape and made the boot even more flexy and pretty much unsafe, it felt like skiing in shoes after i did that.

from another bootfitters perspective, for your size this was a great choice of a boot for them to put you in. don't listen to any other crap in this thread. enjoy your new boots good choice.

If you measured a 23 shell, then the Kaids were the right boot for you. The SPK would be too stiff for you to flex, plus it doesn't come in a 23 shell.

Thanks guys ^

Yeah Pipe munky contacted me over NS when he saw this thread, and Schism posted above. I was reassured by them, they know what they are doing and i trust them. I am once again RESTOKED.

Add a booster strap if you feel they aree too soft when you get to ski them. the booster will give them a better feel on the cuff and a bit more rsponsive when you're freeriding. I hae aseen every oddity know to man in the bootfitting world, you'll be just fine Homey!
