FIscal conservatives...
 
The presidents who were fiscal conservatives have spent a ton of money, but then there's clinton who made a 200b surplus. Then there's John McCain who's another fiscal conservative... basically it's an anti-McCain ad.
 
actually, a lot of that stuff takes time, especially dealing with economic matters. I know bush screwed up and spent too much, but Clinton didn't create a surplus. He just benefitted from the people before him basically setting things into motion to start the surplus and it looks like he's responsible but he's not completely responsible.

I know a lot of you will take my post the wrong way.

All I am saying is stuff like this takes a while, and that you cant just look at what the budget it for a president at the end to decide whether or not he's good with the budget, you need to consider other things.
 
no by clinton i mean bill clinton, if he didn't basically give out free houses we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place, it was inevitable that the market would fall apart eventually because the homeowners couldnt afford their mortgages. it looked like we were in a surplus because clinton made it so that the economy was good for the time being but not in the long term
 
all these ads and commercials are dumb. im voting for barack no matter what anyone says because his dad is from kenya. who doesnt want to see the president run across the backs of cows during his inauguration?
 
the mortgage crisis stems from bill clintons presidency when he deregualted all of the mortgage companies. and george bush has his head up his ass because he didn't do anything to fix that.
 
i always thought the only way to get out of debt was to increase taxes. it makes sense. kinda.
 
think about how good America was doing before bush took office....jobs, surplus, and now the debt is what, in the hundred trillions? on the national debt counter board thing they had to REMOVE THE DOLLAR SIGN to make room for ANOTHER DIGIT
