Ah WTF Computuer Help Needed!

If anyone is a wiz with computers can you tell me whats wrong with my computer.

It started happening last night. On all of my basic programs and internet (firefox, IE) it only shows the basic raw information on the page. ex: when i open up the calculator program it just shows the numbers, not even buttons. When I go on the internet it just shows the writing. Like now it just shows a white background with the info on it. No normal newschoolers background.

It is really annoying and Im going off to college today so it would be really nice if anyone could tell me how to fix it.

^^i get this at college when my internet gets slow, around the evening everyone is online and it gets mighty slow, maybe your problem if you have crappy internet (my internet at home is normal/quite good and it never happens there)
 
No it happens all the time. Even for programs. My home log-on screen is blank white except for the button that has my name

Need HELP!
 
This is a brand new computer. Only a month old. Did a virus scan last night. But i haven't downloaded anything recently so i don't know why this would pop up.
