yes, your body does, but your mind wont grow any further, in an ideal outcome your mind would be in the exact same state that it went into, but normally you suffer from some kind of brain damage

Think of how crazy it would be if you were like 5 and went into a coma, and then woke up 10 years later at 15. a decade of nothingness. You would literally be a 5 year old child trapped in a teenagers body. That would be mind boggeling.

related but still off topic, but i heard that when you wake up from a coma, your mind is exactly in the same state as it was when you went in it (as stated above). this means if you suddenly fell and hit something from a big distance and went into a coma, when you wake up you would think your hitting the ground/falling, but it would be so crazy because you would just see the hospital room or whatever and flip the fuck out
