anyone who has GT racer know what i am taking about. These things are the best thin around besides skiing.

WE should make it a sport.

iv cistomized my gt i took the steering wheel of and put a biiger on and i took the spring off the front so i could do bar spins and tail whips(havnt landed one yet)

but anywayz GT is awsome

 
when theres snow we always make big jumps on the golf course and have massive ski/gt sessions. its wicked. my friend took bike handle bars and put those on, and put his snowblades on the bottom so he can land switch.

my buddy has taken the steering wheel off and put BMX handle bars on it, and attached an old pair of skis to it.

 
haha, snowblades on a gt, that rules. I once saw some little kid, probably like 6 or 7 years old hitting a little jump and tossing out the sweetest supermans ever. You guys see jp auclairs 'ski bob backflip'??? That was so sick.

yeah man thats the shit. im jsut gettin my gt ready for the season down here in ottawa(WHERE THERE IS STILL NO SNOW). replacing the screws and shit. o yeah, i screwed around with the spring and somehow managed it so that i can do barspins with the spring. i hafta test it soon as there's snow tho. i cant wait. my friend is practicing on cement right now and he can bhop about a foot and a half high. it's insane. hes been gting since last year and he can manual for a long time(manulaing is so weird?!?!?!). but anyways, i agree we make it a sport. almost everyone has one, but only for like 8 and younger...

when i was younger we use to go climb tremblant with our GT's on our back. we went at night. we duct taped flashlights to the front under the stering. we had all kinds of Gt. we had one with a speedometer and we had long ones and short ones.

in the spring after the BR went through it was like gTing on an ice ring. in the curves at Mach 3 the back would slide and it was like driving a rally car

The when we got to place st-bernard we went all the way through on the little rocks....man i dominated the GT world for years.

i used to climb up Mansfield (in Ontario) at night with my crazy carpet and go down the moguls. that shit hurts when you get going fast. Going through the trees in a crazy carpet is fun too. I wanna take a GT down 'Glades' at Blue, that would be fun shit.

Hahahh yah word to what Dude le skibum said. When you hit corners wiht speed and if you lean right those things will slide just like rally cars. Its soooo sick. Hahah I took one down the Blacktusk Forrestry access road. Jeff(jeffy) has footie of it from a follow cam I believe. lol. Yah if I couldn't ski for some reason I think I would take up GT. HAHHAHA

We used to all line up at the top of the half pipe at Tali - like 10 of us - and fight all the way down... since we were in a pipe we didn't have much room so yea - my friend had the greatest move - you go up behind someone so that you run into the back of them with your front ski between the other persons back skis, then you crank the wheel to the side and lean into it and you can flip the other guy right off.... it ruled.... yea.

And has anyone used K2's version of these things? It just has 2 skis like abike and you use it with skiboards. Some pics:

those ONES arnt NEARLY AS COOL as the OLD School ones

i just went GTing and there was tones of people there and we lined all the gt up after the jump and i cleared 10 gt's it was so sick

Oh man, that brings back childhood memories. I got a Snow Fox because they were cooler(or I thought that they were). Had a speedometer that went up to 40kph but I always maxed it out. I should pull it out sometime and go hit the local hill again, its so damn fun.

but the best we did is we tied Gts behind a ski doo with a wakebboard rope...oohh the gravel roads around where my friend lived where so even and white...or over the frozen lake. you want your GT to ride like a rally car. thats the way.

we also modified one of our gt to make it hold better....that was our main concern. so we took fine little metal sheets about 15 cm long by 3 cm wide and 3 thik like a ski edge and screwd them to the bad of one of our GT for test on handling.

it was great on ice but slowed us down considerably on snow

Funny how massive corporations and media giants like NBC refuse to support new skiing events like big air and big mountian, yet they use the latter's image to enhance their own. Actually, not so funny. Suck it, NBC.

Do you think that someday there will be a 'twin tipped', GT snow racer?

For backward landings? GT's are great on quarter pipes but you have to land front wards., (it's hard to spin).

last time i tried to modify a GT we were a couple steps above that. we were thinking a way to put real skis and put a way to make it carve when you transfer your weight...quite hard.

yeah my friend did that but THEY are old clanker skis so they have no edge and they took scooter handle bars and put them on it sweet shit.
