he fucking kills in that movie. Was it charlie who did the shirtless switch pow landing near the end, i cant remember who it was?
 
For me, due respect to Tanner, Charley took skier of the year straight up.
 
MSP needs to sign him up, send him on a trip with ABMA and watch those two guys rip!

No. He needs to stay far far away from them and stay with Jeffy and Poorboyz. MSP has lost all direction in where they're going with ski movies.
 
you're totally right- skiing with the likes of hjorleifson, bushfield, sean petit, CR and hugo harrison on a daily basis is totally holding abma back....

he'd be like sooo much closer to realising his full potential if he skier with REAL skiers like twall and brogan. charging big mountain is sooo played....

^I know a lot of people personally who have seen claim, including myself. I know 0 people personally who thought it was a good movie, including myself. The skiing can be amazing, and they will find a way to fuck it up. Abma in Reasons, with Douglas, was an awesome part (though that was largely thanks to Douglas' unparalleled helmet cam footy).
 
His full creative backcountry potential, not his big mountain potential. He's kinda being lead to do what everyone else is already doing, but with say, theory 3 he'd be free to just kill it creatively.I'm pretty sure that's what he meant.
 
yeah your right, my bad. the fact that you and your friends didn't like claim categorically means that msp is shit. besides, you're completely missing th point. first off, this thread is not about abma, it's not about msp, it's about how sick charley ager is. charlie ager is sick. period. mark abma is sick. period. there are arguably zero (perhaps some of the tgr crew) people that would push abma further than the crew at msp. you don't like their movie, fine, but you can't seriously dispute that.
 
not what i meant. i mean segment wise. i think poorboyz does so much better at making segments, that i think abma would be far better off without msp. just because they have sick riders, doesnt mean the segments they edit for them are as good as they could be. i did not mention the people he was skiing with
 
I cannot dispute the notion that Charley Ager is sick because it's irresistible truth... his sickness is unassailable. I can dispute the notion that Abma would (and did this year) have better parts in other companies' movies, because he has to do so much more in an MSP movie because he's not getting much help. But you're right, we digress. Back to how ludicrously good Charley is. By the way, Journal didn't suck. In fact it exceeded my most optimistic expectations, and everyone should watch it.
