Agent 130

has anyone balled out in these yet? I need new boots this season and i rode the agents last year and liked them a lot. I'm confused though, are the agent 80s flexier? because I do not want a stiff boot, but the 130s seem a lot higher end and probably more comfortable.
I tried blue SPKs after riding agents all summer and I hated them, the stance they put me messed up my pop and spins completely....
any input would be appreciated

I haven't ridden them, but the number refers to flex, so yes the 130s are stiffer than the 80s.

i had the 80's last year and they were legit, i'm not sure about the 130 though, but i would say they are more flexie' and are most likely more comfortable. They had better be for like $800!

You think they would be more "flexie"? haha ummm they are 130 flex. They are stiff and made for hard charging. The 80's have a 102 mm last, while the 130 has a 98 mm. So they are worlds apart.

Op....if you don't want a stiff boot, don't even look at the 130. Not to mention they will fit nothing like the 80's do.

the 130s will be very stiff. i have some agent 100s and from the urbans ive done in them sofar this year they are very comfy, not super flexy, but not really stiff either.

The Agent 130 has the same shell as the Diablo 130 race boot, the same boot i race in. The only difference is a slightly softer liner (fur) and a "cushioning" footbed. So technically i havent ridden the Agent 130, just the same shell with a race liner and custom footbeds. That being said, it is a very stiff boot. I race with it. The agent 130 will perform the same way except it will pack out a bit quicker and MIGHT be a little more comfortable for all day long. The technica rep i talked to said its basically a race boot with a comfy liner.

if you dont know what the hell your talking about (you dont, its not a question. the number means the flex and the two boots are worlds appart), then don't post in the thread.

and just so you know, high performance doesnt usually mean more comfortable. it usually means u are giving up some comfort for a much higher performance out of the boot. for example in a race boot, compared to like a salomon performa 2.0...(beginners boot)

My brother just got the 100's for an inbetween flex. He hasn't skied them yet I don't think unless he hit up A-Basin in the last few days but he said they seemed like a real solid boot.
