I want to hear girls thoughts on this.

I've heard it said several times now, from younger girls.

Is it true that the younger girls are into much older guys. How much of a spread would you do, and what

would be a reason for or against?

 
6 thats what i like to call rape. and i think 2 years is the max in high school. in collage 3 years, after that if you want to date a senior citizen go for it.

as a girl, I think it really depends on both people's personalities and maturity level. for me, in grades 8-10 I think going 2 years up is acceptable. for a girl in grade 11 or 12 then 3 would be fine, and after that it's up to you. last year I dated a guy who was 6 years older than me (i was 19 he was 25) and it was kinda weird. right now I think 4 years older max is working out pretty well.

but yeah in high school girls are generally more mature than guys so it kinda naturally works out.

because hes a man, he has a job, a life, shes still a girl going to school and isnt shure of what shes doing with her life yet. my parents were 29 and 21 when they met tho so go figure.

at least someone agrees. i found out a long time ago that young girls, i.e. freshmen are inmature. and salty. they just see you as older and possibly hot, or they just see you as older and something like a way to get into prom. stuff like that.

when i was 21 i dated an 18 year old. she was still in highschool though so of course she was all whiny and bratty. i had to end all communication, unless of course it meant sex.

but ya, im 17 and id say that it all depends on the maturity level of the two people, and what they have in common. sometiems you meet someone and you just connect. in that case, you really dont care about the age gap. i dont even think of age as a big thing in a relationship anyways. wat matters is that you have stuff in common and enjoy being with the person

im 17 and male and the youngest i would and have dated is 15. a friend of mine is 17 and female and her bf of a year and a half is 22.

I think the biggest accidental difference was 3 17/14, she said she was 16 for about a month(looked it too). Usually the two year in either direction rule works out well. Although why anyone over 21 would date anyone under baffles me.

i haven't dated a girl younger than me in four years. most girls are typically pretty dumb, so you at least have a better chance of getting a smart one if you go older. now that i'm single again i'm gonna try for some younger girls just to show them a thing or two

Keep it no more than 2 years in high school, 3 years in college...if you are 18 you should not be dating a 22 year old college graduate after you just graduated high school...there are way too many sketchy things with that situation.

i was just having a discussion with a friend of mine about this the other day. She was going out with like a 21 yr old guy when she wass 16, maybe 22 i cant remember. And it's not just her, there are alot of girls at my school that date old guys that are like well out of high school. I never really thought about it much before but... i'd always hear from the girls how mature and smart and cool the older guys are. But then i thought about it and when im 22, if im still hanging around the local high school, trying to pick up chicks, thats just weird. Definetely not mature or smart or cool for that matter. Thats just really creepy.

If there's a good connection between two people I don't see anything wrong with it. It's hard to find someone you can connect with these days so age shouldn't be such a big issue.

my point is, i dont think its about age, but rather maturity.

i like guys who are a bit older than me. like, 3 years or something. but hanging out with younger guys is fun too cause in general they pay more attention to you cause they feel cool to be with "the older girl." plus theyre more immature and thats funny.
