i love skiing because it doesn't matter how old you are. all the people i ski with are older or younger than me, and i fucking love it. in school other people think they cant be friends with a freshman or 7th grader or a senior just cause they dont have the same classes or age. but on the slopes its all about having a great time with homies! i just think thats dope cause alot of other places age is a huge difference when it comes to friends, not always but it mostly seems that way.
 
that's true... my senior year of college I wound up lapping the park with a sophomore in high school a lot just because we were into doing the same kind of shit.
 
i'm in college and all the kids where i ski (who i take it are not in college, they look young) are in like a park gang and it doesn't seem like they want to associate with anyone else.
 
HAHAHAH SO TRUE! I ride with ethier the kids from my school, how are freshman and im a senior, or 24-25 year olds from work. Its great!
 
I'm 19 and I ski with people +- like 6 years of me in both directions. Everybody's a pal while shredding

I'm in grade 12 and these two kids I chill with on the hill one is a skier and the other is a boarder, I chill with them cause we love to be on the slopes doing what we love
 
There are these 2 dudes in 6th grade who are really good skiers and very chill people. Whereas the rest of their 6th grade is annoying as fuck. It's really nice to see them up on the hill, shredding

Exactly this, age and all. Then there are a couple older dudes I ski with, like 30's and one dude in his 40s who is one of the best skiers I know.
 
I totally agree with you. I ski with no kids my own age. I think it has a lot to do with not being able to tell how old someone is because they have so much gear on.
 
yeah, when I'm at work at my mountain I shred wth kids that are a few years younger than me, but then sometimes I'll cruise with the older guys who all have kids my age. It's all good when you can tell people are having a good time doing the same thing, age isn't really a factor.
 
absolutley, everyone i ski with is 6+ years older than me and they're totally fine with it. Pretty sick to be in an atmosphere where you're accepted like that
 
this is very true and something I have always enjoyed about the sport. When I was in highschool most of my friends were skiers who were in their mid 20s. Now I am in my late 20's but my range of ski friends is anywhere from 15 to 50. Well, maybe not quite 50... but early 40's for sure.
 
I remember when I first started skiing park in early 2000s, i was pretty young, I was at Snow Summit and there was some 45 year old dude sliding rails and doing 270s off. Most pros couldn't do them then. I was like fuck yeah budday.
