Afterbangs

The 100% symmetrical feel is good.
But the afterbang is like 100% wood, and since there is no topsheets on them, they will get very heavy when waterlogged.
They also feel like death on the rest of the mountain.
They grip rails good tho, and are fun skis.
I found them quite hard to do switch ups and bigger spins compared to my T-halls.
I only use my Abangs for urban now, very durable.

Same boat my friend.
Just came out of the Invaders and moved to A-Bangs.
Nearly identical ski minus the cap vs. skate deck construction.
I've heard rumors about waterlogging. It seems probable, but at the same time I'm not sure if it is.
I'll be the judge of that this season.
The skis themselves are about 2lb heavier then the invaders minus everyone hyping them up to seem like cinder blocks on your boots.
Invaders as a pair weigh 6.5lbs, A-bangs weigh 8.4lbs.
