Afterbang 12/13 with Salomon STH 14 Driver 12/13

Hello! im going to buy the Line Afterbangs 12/13 with the Salomon STH 14 driver 12/13 soon but the only thing i wonder is that what length should the ski be? im going to buy the 166 or 172, is the 166 way too short for me, I'm 176cm tall.

I jump pretty big jump and i rail a lot so please answer me

I feel since Line skis tend to look a little short, you could almost go for the 177, but it really depends on how comfortable you are with extra length.
 
afterbangs and sth's are a bad time. I have the abangs with the sth 12 driver, heaviest fuckers ever, especially once water soaks in, look into in the mastermind or the tc ski and i haven't had good experience with salomon bindings i had them fully cranked for use on wateramps, forgot to de-crank them and while on my summer setup i was still popping out on heavy switch landings (Im 6'0 165lbs)
 
^more then lickly that was a forward pressure issue. Salomon make some of the best bindings on the market, and the STH are used by so many people. Get them set up correctly and they are great.

As for afterbangs, no there not great, but not that bad either. Your buying a price point ski so you get what you pay for.
 
I could literally buy a couple sheets of plywood and put them together with some Elmer's glue and paint the tops and they wood ski just as good as abangs...
