I know its a snowboarding movie but i saw it the other day and i cant find out what the intro song is, if anyones has seen it its not the 'Spirit in the sky song" but the one before that, if anyones knows please help

I really wish they made ski movies like that, all happy, showing the best shots of sessions. It's a really nice change after you watch some ski movies. But if every ski movie were like that we would miss the old ones anyways.

so many ski movie companies last yar where trying to get all happy-go-lucky and silly like robot food. they failed so bad. i hate ski movies.

 
yeh that song is sweet, so is pretty much everything else about the movie, high five did a decent job trying to be happy(for ski movies), but nothing can compare to a movie almost all in 16mm and made by robot food

once upon a morning journey

i stopped and watched a figure scurry

atop one snow pile he did hurry

from my perch i tried to focus

as i searched i began to notice

this man’s boots were held in straps

adorned with saggy gortex chaps

tethered to a board made of plastic

what came next was something drastic

the figure turned and began to slide

straight downhill with a powerful glide

upon arrival of this snow mound

dancing and twisting in a single bound

like a black bird taking flight

this figure moved with precision and might

when gravity started to take hold

our hero’s flight was over sold

his mighty legs were poised and ready

his hands became quite strong and steady

as his board and snow would mesh

like a raven’s tallon grasping flesh

hhe pointed a fist up to the sun

while he cruised down the outrun

from the trees i could hear

all his friends yell and cheer

my mind began to draw blank

as he stepped off his p-tex plank

i quickly asked the other witness

havent seen it yet, but AfterBang is still one of my favorite movies of all time. I dont care if its snowboarding, I love watching it, amazing sound track and editing brings back nastolgia from mt. hood riding days

that was from one of the first skate videos ever..."the search for animal" by Powell Peralta. I beleive it was Tommy Guerro that spoke that immortal line.

 
Robotfood is done so you must be talking about Benedek's new project Blank Paper. And I know of what you speak at Whistler but it's not Blank Paper's fault. Blame Whistler blowing their budget on the fact that they took a very poorly conceived approach to creating that feature and failed miserably. That feature will be built in the future..not by Whistler...budgets wont be blown..and Benedek's crew will add to the progression of big jump riding more than any other over the last few years.

I know there's a couple film crews miffed over the whole thing. Get over it. When it finally happens everyone will agree that the idea was a great one.
