Aerial Bowfishing, wtf?

anyone else laugh throughout that entire video? hahaha those fish are retarded, imagine getting hit in the face by one
 
i didn't really listen to the video so I don't know if this was mentioned, but those fish have been a huge problem for a year or two now. they're asian carp and the vibrations from the boat motor disturbs them and they jump. several people have actually gotten concussions from getting bagged in the face while cruisin' down the river in a boat.
 
i've seen some badasses in my day, but that guy might take the fuckin' cake. that was one of the more hilarious videos i've ever seen.
 
im not allowed to use sound in the library but you think a shot gun would be a little more effective. but i guess you cant go out on a public lake and shot shot guns around.

i thought he was getting rid of an evasive species? why does he throw them back in the water when they jump in the boat?

The combination of hilarity and badassary in this = AWESOME.

I would just roll around in the boat with a baseball bat and whack these fuckers into oblivion.
 
when the fish jumped into the boat and he goes, "AHH silver carp in the boat! get off me!" and kicked it, i laughed pretty hard

that must take raw frickin talent, you have less than a second to spot one, aim, shoot, and hit it. crazy stuff
