Advise on the length of powder skis to buy.

So I recently been let down by Revision Skis as I ordered the Subtractions in October last year and they still haven't arrived, I'm almost positive they've gone bust.

Anyway.... I'm now looking to get a new pair of powder skis but I'm a bit on the short side, 5'3" more specifically. Can I get away with riding 170 length skis? Or is this too long for me. I currently have 164 Line Chronics.

Also any suggestions on powder skis would be great.

My wife is 5'3" (maybe even shorter) and she has 170 Icelantic Gypsies. Don't go shorter for pow boards.

For powder, the longer you go the more float you will have.

All brands measure differently, so I would say 170-174 range.

And feel free to go a little longer for a more rockered ski.

I like all my skis above my head but over all go taller than you, if you are shredding open fields and spines where you lay them over and take big carves/slashes go even taller but for really tight trees go a little shorter (shorter being your height taller being above your head)
