I just moved to San Francicso from Colorado. I am looking for a good season pass to buy. I want to ski the best mixture between good parks and good terrain. Driving distance is also an issue. Any advice on the subject would help me out.

ALPINE...nuff said. thats where the majority of people are goin this year. the price moves up tomorrow from 199 for youth to 299 so if youre 18 or younger get it now. not sure bout adult passes. get a boreal night pass at least for park

alpine is a sick mountain and had a sick park last year...plus its pretty cheap passes. about 3.5-4 hours from the city.

I love carpet... I love desk... I love lamp

While I'm totally an Alpine fan nobody on here has mentioned it's the furthest possible drive to snow for you in sf. Check out Kirkwood perhaps or Sugarbowl. They both have alright parks but awesome big mountain terrain. For about $500 you can get a Sugar Bowl pass and a Boreal pass so you can ride park at Boreal and Big Mountain at Sugar Bowl and they are within like 15 minutes of one another off 80 before the summit. They are both 30-40 minutes closer to you than Alpine which means 1 hr-1.5 hrs. round trip which is a big deal. I moved from Truckee to Davis this year for school so these are things I have to think about too.

yeah kirkwood gets the most snow and its a quicker drive through jackson - sierra has a good park too, and you could prob buy a kirkwood and sierra pass for what it cost to buy an alpine pass.
