Advice on Skis

Hey,

looking for a new pair of big mountain/powder skis, but still usable for everyday skiing. I live in Tahoe, and I'm 6'4" around 165 lbs. I'd say at least a type 3 skier. Love skiing between the trees, and flying down groomers, but do want to get better at my freestyle skiing. I demoed the Soul 7 HD a couple weeks ago and looking for something similar to it. budget is 500 dollars without bindings. I've been looking at the Moment Meridians, PB&Js, Icelantic Nomad 105s, something along those lines. yeah.

Let me know what you think, and thanks for the help.

Where in Tahoe? You should drive to the moment factory and demo some skis you might be interested in.

I'm thinking about it but I'm down in Meyers so its a pretty long drive

I'd go Kartel 108s or PB&Js myself most likely in this situation. Maybe even something a little fatter depending on what you do most as you're a huge dude but oddly skinny? Idk.

Yup. If possible, do this. I'd recommend trying the PB&J, Meridian 107, and Wildcat.
