Advice on Picture

1. Composition is slightly off, I like where the rider is in the frame, but it could be a little bit tighter.

2. The saturation. Basically, my eyes are on le fire. The trees look like somebody bled out on them, and the greens and reds are just blown the fuck out.

3. Blacks could be a little heavier, but thats just my opinion.

Other than that, it looks like a really cool shot, nice job!

Is this right out of your camera or have you edited it? Looks edited to me, but maybe not.

I'd mess with dropping saturation and vibrance, maybe bump contrast up a little. Could also cool it down a bit as there's a lot of red in it.

The shot's pretty good, but the colour needs some work. Could also be tighter, as mentioned above, but I don't mind it the way it's composed now.

I threw it into PS real quick. I probably went a bit too far and now it's maybe a little washed out, but you could probably get something pretty nice if you fooled with your curves.

when I imported it the color got a little funky.. probably just my crappy comp haha. I'll re-import it and tweak the colors a bit

are you shooting in raw or jpg? if you are in raw there isn't anyway your computer would mess up the colors

personally this is how i would have salvaged the image. it was way too red for me so i went for a "cooler" feel with more greenish blueish and cropped out a little of the bushes

That looks way worse than the OP. Camohard's wasn't bad, just really noisy since he grabbed the low quality of NS. I would 100% clone out the camera guy, he's dead centre and its a bit distracting. It wouldn't be hard either, he's in a completely blue background. Timing on the photo was good though, Henrik really lays out those grabs.

Desaturated the snow and trees. Added a gradient to make the sky pop a little more. As you can see I spent a minute on it so there's evidence of editing in the trees on the left. Toning down the reds makes this a much more engaging photo.
