I land about half of my tries, but almost all the time I land backseat. How the fuck do I not do that

You're dropping your shoulder when you unwind on takeoff, which is pulling your whole body back before you start the spin so you end up off axis.

Focus on putting pressure on the tongues of your boots and pop straight up when you throw it.

That’s the thing they are cranked, I think I need to check the forward pressure

First of all cranck up your dins. Your skis shouldn't detach that easily.

Look up and out towards the horizon not down at the ground. And work on your pop too. Do some big slow 180s to warm up

Thanks y’all, I can’t go again till Sunday but I’ll try that stuff then

Hey buddy I had the same issues. Pop. That’s the key. It’s more in your knees than in your upper body. Also set a little harder. And I mean a LITTLE. Not a lot. I think that will help get your rotation around. Also this may be controversial but don’t spot your landing too early.

What helped me the most with this same issue was someone on NS talking about how you finish your spin like you are putting on a seatbelt. So if your trailing arm is shoulder height from T-setting then you bring it across your waist to your opposite hip just like clicking in a car seatbelt. It sounds really dumb, but for some reason this is the only 360 advice I've found on newschoolers that has ever helped me and got me to land my 360's forward instead of in the backseat.

Pop, don't try to rush the rotation. The jump you are doing them on looks pretty perfect for learning, but try your 3s (and other tricks) off lots of different take-offs from something flat like a cat track through different grades to a really steep take-off, even a QP if you can find one. This will help you dial in your pop and timing even more and you will learn how to assess how much of a pop you need.

When you are about to land, try pushing your hands out in front of your knees. That is an easy way to help center your mass so you aren't backseat.

This.

And also when you're thinking about setting your spin, concentrate on throwing your front (right) shoulder forward and around, as opposed to pulling your back (left) shoulder backwards and around. This throws your weight a bit more forward rather than pulling it backwards. Think "throw" not "pull"
