Advice needed on buying skis

Yo,

bought a pair of skis from glisshop.com and told them multiple times I wanted them mounted on true center. These are the most I’ve ever spent on a set up and I wanted it perfect now they are saying they forgot to mount them true center, what should I do? Shall I get them re drilled or try and get a refund, there customer service isn’t great as they are ignoring me now

what skis are they and what kind of skiing do you do?

this prob isn't the answer you were looking for, but mounting true center really isn't the ticket unless you ski literally only park and are switch like more than half the time. skis ski better forward when they're mounted back a little, that's how the sidecut and construction of the ski is designed and how the recommended mount point is determined. i really don't think you're missing out here unless you are 100% park and KNOW you prefer true center mount

They are the line honey badger, I do some all mountain but then also laps through the park it depends how I feel really, I ski switch and do jumps and stuff but I’d say maybe 60% park and 40% all mountain

Can you get a partial refund on the mounting? If you have an opportunity, can you take them out and see how they ski. Most skis do better at the recommended mount point unless you're going to be 100% park.

Dude keep em on recommended mount. If you like skiing the mountain at all they just did you a favor. Also they're line park skis so they're going to have a very "progressive" mounting point anyway! Honestly I'd leave em dude

You need to demand a refund and a remount, if u specified you wanted them at true center than that’s where they have to mount them.

"Demanding' is the worst way to fix the issue. If your less aggressive, they will be more likely to help.

If they're not, then be a bit more aggressive. The worst case is you go to a local shop and explain the situation, they may be more than happy to remount for at least a discount.

Pro tip: a 6 pack of beer goes a long way!

The shop screwed up. Talk to a manager. Any reputable shop would give the OP some discount.

Dont settle for discounts. They screwed up and owe a full refund and a free mount at the very least.
