Advice from Fernie seasonaires needed

Hey Ns,

I’m looking

for some info on Fernie. I’m hoping to move there for the 2013/2014 season. The

main question I have is, what do people think is the best time to move over to

find accodation and a job?

I’m just looking for some part time work to pay the

bills for the season and a room in a house somewhere in the town.

Hopefully I

can find a time where I can arrive early enough to find a job and accomodation

without waiting for weeks upon weeks for the season to start.

I would

also be interested to know who difficult/easy people found it to find season

jobs in the last few seasons in Fernie?

Hoping to book flights soon while they are nice and cheap

Hey Dude. Did a season there 3 years ago and found a job hard to come by. You need to be there October to score a job. Lots of forum sites like ourfernie.com will offer accomoation and stuff. Hae a good one!

I'll probably head out the second week of October. Hopefully that will be early enough.
