Advice for high schoolers

Do your research on colleges and do as much as you possibly can to try to figure out if you'll like it. I'm doing applications to transfer next fall for my junior year and it's a pain in the ass doing everything I did in high school all over again.

My advice, find a school you really love and pray that you'll like it for your 4 years.

A quote I found etched into the side of a barn this afternoon pretty much sums up my feelings:

UVM (or whatever college) is like a virgin pussy; it's tough to get into and 9 months later, you wish you'd never tried.

haha not diggin the crunchies eh, thats rough, i think i might go there and i dont know if ill be able to handle all the hackey sacks and frisbees

ha that sucks. I finished all of my applications (im a senior) before nov1st and sent all of them out early action. So, im just waiting for decisions. uvm=not so good?

I second that motion. And in addition, don't rush into a major that you aren't stoked on. Take your time and figure out what you really want to do. Even if it means taking a year off before college, don't let adults tell you that you HAVE to go to college right after high school. Its much better to figure out what you want on your own time at your own pace. That way you won't get half way through it and realize that it sucks donkey balls.

Thank you and good night.

THis can be good and bad. I know people that took a year off and lost motivation and now arent doing anything with their lives.

one of my brothers freinds is at laurier and hates it. he defenetly isnt poor but apperently everyone there is so insainly rich that they look down at him like he is scum.
