Advertising on Skis?

so when do you think a ski company will make a deal with another company to advertise on their skis? i mean if armada decided to insert a big oakley graphic on their skis it would be big advertisement for oakley and oakley could pay armada money for it. one problem would be armada riders that are sponsored by other companies but if a company outside the market like target did it it could work. you think it will ever happen?

no i doubt it will, unless it is custom made for a rider who also rides for the other (e.g. target, but wtf?) company.

ski companies want to advertise themselves not other companies. i think it would make the ski more expensive?

I don't think it will ever happen. Its not like all ski companies would start it at the same time anyways, people would just buy skis from someone else.

not neccessarily, if the money made by advertising was used towards the costs of producing the ski, it could infact make it cheaper.

i doubt it. the selling point of many skis these days is sadly the graphic so if the ad compromises the graphic then i doubt many people would by them. but if they incorporated the ad into the graphic it may work.

no shit dumbass why would they advertise for someone else?

and pros are starting to do it for THEMSELVES,like tanner and the reb bull bases, but armada inst going to mass produce redbull bases, because not everyone is spancerd by redbull

don't call me a dumbass. they would advertise for a different company because that company would pay them money to advertise their product. sure not everyone is sponcered by redbull but im sure a lot of kids would love to have red bull on their base. they would think it was awesome

Oh, it happens with companies that aren't in the same market really. I've seen So many PBR, Mountain Dew, etc. Rossignol skis and boards. And I'm sure there is some story about those Porsche Volkls. Like some sorta Porsche customer appreciation or special offer or something.

So, It's not rare for companies from a different market to advertise on skis for promotional use (ie. give away in a contest) but I don't see Oakley, or Spy or any other company in the ski industry going to Armada to put anything on their skis.

u r a dumbass,

what would happen if an armada rider rode for rockstar and they had redbull on the bottom of there skis.....

let me guess what you were gunna say next..

"maybe they could have a choice to which companny they wanted"

stfu this is going no ware

end of thread

it would go the other way around, the advertising company would buy the ski brand, and then advertise on it themselves.

if you bought a red bull arv, it would be from red bull not armada.
