Advantages of a park ski vs All mountain?

I was wondering how much of a difference park skis makes while skiing park, i have a pair of all mountain skis and was wondering if it was worth it to invest in a pair of park specific skis. I currently have a pair of rossignol S5, and was thinking about getting something like the atomic punx. I ski park probably 60% of the time depending on conditions. So basically i am wondering how much does a park ski help in the park.

Depends on a lot of factors, such as whether or not you plan on hitting rails a lot, if you care about keeping you S5's pristine, if you have the money to spend, etc.
 
I hit rails a lot already. I am not too worried about keeping my current skis in top shape, would rather just have fun then babying them, and i should be gettng a pretty good job this summer so i will have some money available.
 
Also my current boots are pretty cheap and not the most comfortable things in the world. Would my money be better spent on a nice pair of boots?
 
Hmm I just looked up the S5's and they're 98 underfoot, regular camber, so they're probably fine if you're just getting into park. Imo a pair of slightly skinnier, more park-oriented skis would certainly be helpful, but by no means necessary.
 
No worries. I just saw your post about boots, and I would definitely recommend new boots over skis, if they don't fit properly. Proper fitting boots are imo the most important thing to have. No matter how dope your skis are, it doesn't matter if you're miserable all day in ill-fitting boots.
 
Hey man i have a pair of s5 08/09 which are 90mm waist and lately ive become very interested in park and spending most of my time there..so i bought line masterminds which are light and flexible.. it definately helps as they are a bit easier to manouver but the difference is not that big
