u get a dvd ripping program, premiere doesnt have the capabilities to do that.

Premier won't do it. DVD2AVI is a pretty good program and I think its free.

DVD Decrypter - will rip the DVD to your hard drive. You can then add these files into what is called DVD Shrink to re-author the dvd and then use CopyToDVD to burn the image to a dvd-r. Thats if you just want to copy..
