Adobe Premiere Pro CS6...

Mac or PC.

The mac patch is super easy. You download the master collection via adobe's site, then run two scripts. One blocks adobes activation "phoning home" and the other patches the serials in each program.
 
it's even easier with cs6, you just replace one file in the framework and bam youre good to go
 
the cs6 patch i used had the option to do that, or you could just run scripts for the corresponding app and it did it for you. took a bit longer but you cant screw it up
 
im on mac. so i dowload the master collection? is there any super techy things i have to do cause im computer savy just not like changing the software savy
 
How do i know if i did cracked it correctly? can i only find out in 30 days if it doesnt cancel my trial?

Then also downloaded the master collection, turned wireless off, opened each program then closed it, then opened each individual patch (came in the torrent above), the patch pasted atmlib.frameworks or something like that in each contents folder.

only program that didnt download is after effects which is a bummer, i get some error message every time i try and dl it.
 
if you needed to download adobe download assistant, then it should stop popping up and reminding you that its a 30 trial
 
So this is a screenshot of speedgrade, for some reason i cant access the look button, clip, mask, annotations, steroe 3d or pan and scan.

only buttons i can use are timeline and audio. i dl this so maybe its the trial? or i did the crack wrong?

any ideas?

Here is a real question, when in the looks tab you have different .look files and options. I accidentally closed all the tabs loosing all the .looks. I cant seem to find where they are located, in this finder:

that message should've gone away the next time you opened one of the programs. by the way, the crack for AE never worked for me on that torrent
 
just checking so. (im sorry if i seem retarded) so i sign up to Adobe to start the download of the trial? once the trial is done do i do the torrent (does it work 100%)?

Weird that only after effect doesnt work.

Anyone know where the .looks files are located? I like the cine .look and cant seem to find them anymore.
 
you can either download the legit trial and then crack it, in which case you need to make an adobe account (it's pretty easy)

or you can just torrent the whole thing, it should work 100%
 
Im pretty sure adobe will block you from their site if you have ever downloaded a torrent of an adobe product. i torrented lightroom and photoshop like last year and tried to get to their website and get the master collection but adobe was blocked.

just a heads up, get everything you need from adobe before starting any torrents. since i was blocked i had to use the torrent, if you can get to the site it's essentially the same thing.
 
I think that maybe when you edited the hosts file to stop Lightroom to from contacting the adobe website it may have blocked the internet's ability to reach the website. Not positive but that would make sense
 
I highly doubt this is correct, How would they know? In what way does it benefit them? I've never been banned.
 
Hey, so I need some help here. I'm trying to trim a few seconds off of and edit, and in the middle there is a clip which I split with the razor tool, but it won't let me ripple delete to close the gap, any help on this?
 
select/delete the clip you want to get rid of, and in the gap, right click and select like close gap or merge or something like that. not sure what PP's wording is for it
 
Usually there's the option for ripple delete, but it's not letting me select it, might it have something to with having titles in place?
 
sounds like something that happened to me once in cs6 but never happened in cs5.5. why don't you just delete it normally and then drag the shit yourself? or is there lots of different layers and stuff you're dealing with?
 
Theres just a lot of clips haha, just wondering if there's a quicker way so I don't have to do it everytime

Basically what I had to do was go through and drag like ten of the clips over, and then after a while I guess it just decided to let me go ahead and ripple delete.
 
it sends signals out to adobe if patch it correctly, i probably didnt do it correctly the first go round.

i took my mac into a local computer wiz and thats what he suggested. i am still blocked from adobes website and its literally the only answer to my conundrum.
 
dude there's literally no way that can be what's happening. I got on a couple weeks ago, I've torrented stuff from them in the past, and now I can't get on after dling and patching cs6. Try going into your hosts file and taking out the block from your last patch.
 
question if anybody can help

ive downloaded the trial version, can i use a firewall to block outgoing data from it, will that stop adobe from being able to cancel it after 30 days?

 
little problem here, while playback of my video in premiere the video gets so choppy even though my playback settings is at full (its laggy at 1/2, too)Hva any of you had this problem? I was kinda positiv for this premiere shit and if dont fixs this I will for sure switch back to tcp 7 again...
 
"full" playback settings means it plays back your footage in full quality. LOWERING this value means playback is simply reduced in the amount of quality rendered. If you can cut it down to something still of use but keeps the framerate what you need, then go ahead. Just make sure you export with full quality and not the reduced timeline playback setting.
 
God dammit I hate this f****** program, crashes right before the end of the exporting and now it want open, I was just done with a 4 hour job and now this happens...Im using a MBP 15'' quad core 2.2 GHz intel Core i7 with 8 GB RAM, Why the hell does this happen?!?!

^ it may not help you now but in the futre try rendering an image sequence rathr then a video. Tht way if the render fails you still have all the frames it has rendered and you can just render the remaining frames. Then you can just use media composer to compress the images for distribution.

As for playback, im guessing thats your laptop mainly. Im guessing you dont have a GPU supported by the mercury playback engine. If you think you do hve a card that should work, go to the settings and ensure that the card is selected to enable mercury playback.

Also somthing thats worth doing is working with sequencial saves. That way if one of your files becomes corrupted you can always go bck and go from that save.

 
Problem is that Premiere still starts all image sequence exports with number 0. So you need to batch rename secondary chunks of image sequences to be read properly when you combine to one single sequence.
 
There are quite a few tools to automate that though. I work in 3d so everything I render is in sequences. When you have say 10 layers render for one scene with say 3 camera angles, you find ways to quickly work with renaming image sequences.

You could always render with AE if you are struggling with image sequence naming conventions from PP, AE is very strong with sequences.
 
Just out of curiosity, what's your sequence renamer of choice? I usually use Sequence 911 or Bridge, but I don't love either of em.

dl cs6 master collection as a trial, then follow the steps to patch amtlib.frameworks. follow just about any youtube tutorial...

there is a torrent on the pirate bay that does that patching for you. just look it up on youtube
 
It's sad Apple isn't trying to keep competing for our business with final cut. They are really busy selling iPhones these days, I am still on FCP and too busy with projects to switch yet, but it's gonna happen. RIP Final Cut!!? I love you.
 
It's really easy to get cs6. Just get the free trial of it and dowload the .dll file. (believe it's called amtlib.dll)Torrenting is kinda sketchy IMO.

 
I think ive heard about this problem here before but i couldnt see any answer to it..When im doing this ramped slowmotion in after effects (got the clip over from premiere with this ''replace with after effects composision'') and when im done and I go back to premiere the sound isnt synced..

Do you guys now how to fix this? I really enjoy the sound you get from this ramped slowmo!

AE is notorious for bad sound processing. Half the time if you simply convert a clip with a light effect applied in AE, the sound will be a couple frames out of sync in the exported file (audio processing just isn't what AE is designed to do). Just re-create the audio ramp in Premiere or Audition.
 
as far as exporting goes, what presets should I use for max quality? I'm gonna end up uploading to vimeo/youtube but I heard if you export it raw first, then convert to a internet friendly file it will look alot better.

Also is it worth the upgrade from CS5.5? I can't manage to keep up with Adobe haha.
 
after upgrading my ram im finally ready to make the switch. What is everyones thoughts on the color grading program? is it suffiecient or is another program necessary?
 
cs6 has presets for youtube and vimeo based on frame size (1080p, 720p) and frame rates (24, 30, 60). Go to export -> media then in the drop down choose "H.264" then go to the next drop down and choose the right vimeo/youtube export. Been using it since I started using premier, it works great.
 
Eheath, what format should i export my 7d files to before i import them to premiere, does the ProRes work well for example?? and yes I'm on a mac..
