Admissions essays

I had to write about how I added to campus diversity. No wonder they have people write about this, I've seen about 4 black people here in total.

this might be weird but i decided to write about my fear of ice when skiing, and we tend to have alot of that here

yeah somehow i got involved with my moms college roomates habitat for humanity group that is based in paris. so i went with all americans who lived in paris. yeah portugal was awesome im leading a group from here next summer for two weeks.

Kind of old thread, but I'm working on mine. I'm doing mine on sailing. Pretty much a coin flip between sailing and skiing, just happened to be the summer when I started writing.

The supplements are going to be a bitch though, Tufts has four essays!

i'm not sure but i do this adaptive ski thing (teach kids with dissabilities how to ski) and i think i'm going to write about that near lake george n.y.

I wrote one about a time I crashed skiing and got a concussion plus some other shit. And how my helmet saved my life. and then said how I had wanted to be an engineer before but now im motivated to give back and make a difference by designing new products

And then for a supplement I wrote about being an adaptive (handicapped) ski instructor and what its taught me

i wrote about tyler hamilton (pro bike racer caught doping) and how he was an idol until he was caught, and how that relates to personal values, it's pretty pro

i had to do several, but my main one had something to do with mountain climbing and how others didnt seize it and regretted it and shit

My Topic was "The Key To Personal Success" and i wrote mine about skiing.. it was probably the best thing i've ever written, and we had to hand them into english.

I think I wrote about how I wanted to be closer to mt. baker or something. I don't think it really matters what you write about.

i wrote about my sweeet bong and how the changing colors represent my growth as a person, and about some biiiig rips ive taken from it

these suck sooo much dick. i havent done em yet even tho i should. ^^ i am applying to boulder but as a saftey so its unlikely that ill end up there. even tho its like the dream location almost.

yea. watever tho. i actually envy all those people who get to go there cus i would love too. but i just cant bring myself to do it cus i have "more prestigious" options i guess u could say. that would benefit me more in the long run.

i dont have to yet. maybe when i go to university i'll write about how 2+2=4 and what an adjective is.

University of Denver. close enough. but i pulled the cancer card on mine and wrote about suriving cancer and how it's changed me as a person. well, i didn't really pull the cancer card, i tried my best to keep it positive and not have that "pity me" sound.

i was tempted to pass that in to my teacher when we were learning about Oedipus in my humanities class.

anyway, i'm writing about how diversity is important to me, since i experience so much diversity on newschoolers.com. just kidding, we're all a bunch of white kids that like to ski.

no really anyway, i'm writing about 3 things: how much music is important to me, how a book helped me decide what i want to do with my life, and how my highschool career was so successful because of an attitude change i had my sophomore year. mushy stuff like that.
