im going to remount my skis soon n i was just wondering how easy it is to adapt to having the binding in the new position.

just let a shop do it, they know how to do it correctly.

I don't think that's what he's asking. He's asking when you could run into problems getting them remounted (obviously, done by a professional). Just look at the spacing of your holes.

The new holes need to be 1cm from existing holes. I can only speak for Salomon S900s (same pattern as current models I'm pretty sure) - the toe screws are about 3.5cm apart and the heel screws about 10.5cm, so you won't be able to have them remounted between 2.5 and 4.5cm or between 9.5 and 11.5cm forward. Anything else should be fine.

i dont think thats what hes talkin about either.

he just wants to know how long it will take him to get used to ridin the ski in a new position.

i would think its just a matter of days. depending on how dramatic the change is, it shouldnt take you too long. youll get used to it pretty quick

yeah i think you are right, and to answer his question - not long.
