Adjusting my poles...

hey, i bought a pair of Scott Axis 52" Series 2 Ultra Lightweight aluminum ski poles. I was wondering what the best method is to remove the handles, and if i need a certain instrument to cut them. Thanks.

pipe cutter didnt work on mine. hacksaw did. pull the grips off. using your arms and but the baskets under your feet. make sure you use a ruler and pencil for equal cuts.

haha i figured i would need to pull them off. but they're on there pretty good.. ill give it another shot. your sure the baskets wont bust in any way?

I tried pulling mine off, and it didn't work. So I boiled some water, and soaked the handles in it, the came off easily then.

i thiunk i have the same poles as you, what i did was take a screwdriver and stick it in under the grip and pulled outward to get the grips loosened, spray some wd40 in there, twist and pull out. then use pipe cutters, worked for me
