Adjusting afd on marker jester bindings

Hey guys

I'm currently adjusting my binding and now I have a bit of struggle with the afd.

So when I try to fit in the card between afd and boot it sometimes is way too tight but when I pull up a bit on the boot its way too loose.

Am I supposed to pull on the boot in order to set the afd correctly or not?

Don't pull back on the boot actively while setting it. Like give the boot a tug backwards with the card underneath to set the toe upward, release the boot, then set the afd
