Address Bar Icon!?!

A lot of sites lately have icons in the address bars that some sites call favicons, but i noticed newschoolers does not. This is a feature that does make sites look a bit more legit. I'm sure many of you frequent SAC and whiskeymilitia, and have seen the icons there. I think it is time that NS upgrade and I have took the liberty of helping make the first step. Using an online site (which I am not affiliated with or endorsing) I have created some NS favicons. I'm very new to this, but thought if it was already done it would be easy enough for the site manager to try out. I'm sure there are tons of people out there far more artistic than I that could do this better, but it's a start. I do have a problem in that I am not sure how to upload the files needed. If anyone can direct me I will upload them immediately.
 
sweet man..just go to media/pictures/add photo, or upload photo

then when you have the address of the photo itself, post it up here in between

Thanks for the tip, but what I need to post isn't just an image. It's a file that gives details on how to load the item as well as a set of html instructions (best way I can some it up) Can you load non image files? All I created was an NS logo pic that is the size of a 16x16 pixel pic.

 
i dont believe you can load non-image pics, maybe upload the file to a remote hosting site and then post the link here, alternately speak with nopoles or one of the mods and you could send them the file via email or sometging
 
Firefox is weird. Sometimes it shows it, other times it doesn't but it was just updated recently and I have seen it before.
 
I see some of you with firefox (which I use) are showing the icon in

your quick

bookmark line. This is actually why I wanted it, mine is just icons

(title is just a space). NS however comes up as a blank page(default

icon). Either way, I noticed all of the examples posted show the NS

icon ONLY

in the quick bookmark line, NOT in the address bar or on your tab as it should be,

even though all had NS pages loaded. There are also 2 different icons

shown, which makes me think you might have manually changed them

yourselves. Here's what it looks like on my computer, and yes it's photoshopped.

haha i think you got icon pwnd now - i certainly didn't make this one though, came up automatically when i put it as a link on firefox
 
that's odd. There always used to be one for me. I didn't notice until now that it's gone. I'm in Firefox, btw.
 
So it looks like a lot of people had it, and now nobody does, right?

Can we get it back?

If someone has it, now, on the new version of the site, can you please post a screencapture with it in the addy bar. My damn quick link looks so gay with a blank page there.
 
I dont know if I've ever seen it, im using firefox too, but I've got a firefox theme so it might not show because of that?
