im out east so i ski mostly park like 90%, im 135 pounds and about 5'8 so id get 171s or w.e, im looking for someone who is has actually ridden both or knows alot about them not just someone who has no knowlegde of the addicts saying suspects because alot of pros use them. and also whats the difference between the addict and addict pro?

I love chatting shit about how rubbish Salomon has always been since it took the foolish steps into making skis and gave up on making the best bindings in the world in the nineties. But i do that a lot so I'll stop.

Addict pros are a stiffer, better made addict. I have heard that they are very respectable. Up there.

I have the suspects in a 181. They are extremely stiff and I am 6' 180 but if you like a stiff ski then youd probably like them because they have a lot of pop. The big problem with them is durability. after less than 10 days on them I had a cracked edge that is slowly separating and now I try to only use my old skis for rails so they dont fall apart on me. A lot of people have had their suspects and dumonts (same ski) fall apart on them and salomon refuses to warranty any of them. I would reccommed staying away from salomon and buying from a company who stands behind their product a little more.

I've heard bad things about Salomon this year, and addicts are really good skis. Since your light, I would get the Addicts not the Addicts Pros, because Addict Pros will be too stiff for you.

Addict Pro: For kicker and halfpipe pros. The contest model with carbon swingweight

insert in shovel and tail section. Developed by the pro riders for top

results at national and international events.

Addict: For park, pipe and big air. The Slopestyle ski that can do practically

anything. Real Twintip with Sandwich construction for identical

forwards and backwards skiing.

From the Fischer website^^

Also I am pretty sure the Pro has a titanium sheet in it and the Addict does not.. somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I have heard great things about the Addict skis though, I would say go with the Addicts, you don't need the stiffness of the Pro. I choose these over the Suspects because of quality issues, the Suspect is an awesome ski.. just doesn't hold up. Plus Fischer is a respected race brand that happens to make some sweet park skis, so you know the quality is up there.

please god, helpeth this skiier in his choice in skis, and steer them clear from the Solomon line

im kind of a hater on the company, but the skis never feel right underfoot, ya dig?

i don't dig. i'm 5'11" 150 lbs and ski on 181 cm suspects. they ski great. i have them mounted at core center and they're solid. stiffer flex for a park ski, but that gives them a lot of pop. makes it better for landing big jumps, and is more stable on rails. everyone knows that the durability of salomon skis hasn't been great this year, but mine are still in one piece after 30+ days and i really like how they ski.

i have 09 addicts and love them...perfect for rippin through the park. great pop and nice for butters. center mount them too!
