Adderall?

so... just wondering how long 30 mg of this would last. never done it before but i need to get late schoolwork done because the end of the quarter is tomorrow.

i searched, nothing answered my question though.
 
if it is xr and still in the capsule when you take it you will not sleep

maybe open the capsule up and take like half of it..put it on your tongue and desolve it...that way it kicks in right away rather than lasting all nigth
 
umm if this is regular adderall and not adderall XR then it should last about 5 hrs. If it's XR, then you probably won't sleep.
 
don't take/snort adderall when you're not prescribed to it, it's just dumb, unplug your internet and sit down and get your work done, you dont need add kid meds
 
its still in the capsule... sweet i havent pulled an all nighter in a while

if you do that you might die. it is in a time release capsule and if you take it all at once it will make your heart rate go through the roof and fuck you up

I just about gaurantee you have an XR (orange pill right?)

I used to pour water in a water bottle cap, pour like 1/3 a pill in top of the water then just drink it. To be honest I find the blue 10 mg pills (solid pill, not plastic coated mini pellets) to be way more effective and doesn't give you the shakes. Just really focus without side effects. I hated the kind you have. You'll be up all night with the shake if you take it down tho
 
yeah its the xr, a few of my friends have taken them the past few nights to finish off the quarter and they never said anything about shakes so that might only happen to certain people
 
i dont know what people are talking about. i took it once on a day i had a test during the day and i still couldnt sleep that night at all. taking it now would deff keep you awake...

maybe i have a low tollerance for it but if your not prescribed i highly doubt u will sleep tonight, but you'l get ur shit done fo sho
 
Dude, just fuckin take it. I am prescribed adderal xr 25 mg daily. In my opinion I think you should be able to sleep when ever you want. Even when I first took adderal I never actually FELT it. Adderal just helps me work I don't find any side effects what so ever. If you wanted to get high then you should get 80 mg xr. Which you're not so all these kids saying you'll get the shakes and shit, not in my opinion. I have taken 65 mg and not even noticed it still.
 
tons of kids from my school take adderall xr... they even friggin blast em ! heard it works reallygood but since its a made of methanphetimine(sp) salts im not gonna touch it
 
i did it for an assignment once but took too much, i learned the hard way, it's just dumbi failed the assignment and felt like shit for a week, it was a fail fail situation
 
So, pretty much you took the easy way out. YOU didn't know the dosage you were supposed to take/or took. YOU failed the assignment, not the adderal. YOU didn't take responsibility for your actions and in turn go and put a bad name down for the medication that i take daily. BTW i'm almost certain that amphetamine has been used for 100 years or more in medical cases. That is only what I heard from my doctor though so don't quote me on that.
 
seriously dont take this shit unless u REALLY NEED IT...i was on it prescribed by a doctor for 2 months and it was awful. slept maybe 20 hours a week. shcool was better tho but now im on vivance its way better idk if u could get it tho
 
yo maaan, if its instant release you'll be higher than a hippie in an hour. geetered is the term. smoke a bowl two hours after you pop it. and it sets you on a level you never knew was there. then hit the books.

I used to be prescribed to concerta (form of adderal) and I had MADDDDD depression and anxiety and social problems. I was jittery and hated everyone, my grades where aweeeeeeesome but I was a freak.
 
i took 200 milli straight to the dome and didnt sleep for 2 days....cerial.

when i finally did sleep thoug, it was the best sleep ever.
 
Unlike all you motherfuckers I actually have ADHD. I take Adderall twice a day, 30 mg each so thats 60 mg a day. The pill I take is orange, solid, and oval shaped. It lasts for about 5 hours, but I can still be crazy at times like sometimes it seems as if it isn't working. haha I think having as bad of ADHD makes me the unique person I am, I'M FUCKING CRAZY AND WEIRD (but in a good way). When I take two pills at once I'm just SUPER CHILL, just sit there and totally focus, which tells me i should prolly be taking 60mg a hit. Without addie i would never get work done but i always be bustin funnies and not caring what peeps think about me when its not in my system.
 
I miss having a good adderall hook up, now instead of studying for my midterm tomorrow morning im on ns, im so fucking responsible
 
Concerta= Methylphenidate

Adderal= Mixed amphetamine salts ( Dextro amphetamine [time release] & Amphetamine)

I used to be prescribed to Concerta but it didn't make me concentrate enough or easily abused enough for me haha.

That's wierd though.

Also to LoopD did you do that all at once? Because if you didn't have a tolerance and you did 200 mg's you're in death territory/ really bad for your heart in any case.
 
it took me about an hour to really get into doing work but that was because of the streaming of realtime. so then i just chilled and talked to people before getting to work on my ap gov work... three page packet full of short answer was done within 45 minutes, then three tests that i needed to correct the wrong answers on because i need to bump my grade up to a B and my test average is a C... so that took another 15 minutes, and now im just taking a break before i get to work on correcting my math homework from last night, doing tonights math worksheet and correcting my latest math test to get that grade up to a C. then on to physics homework and then sleep. and yes i could definitely go to sleep anytime if i want to. i feel awake, but i can feel the tiredness hiding behind it.

so yeah i recommend this if you need to do quite a load of work for the next day.
 
Like I have respect for you and everything. And this is nothing against you as a NS member or person...but you are retarded. One of the worst things about this site are threads like these with kids asking medical questions; and kids like you answering them. I am sure you are really good at looking things up on WebMD.com or even have the experience of taking them yourself. However, in no way should you prescribe anything to anyone. Unless you are a MD, which I am probably 100% sure you are not. And even at that, with a MD, I hope you'd be smart enough to not say things like this post. There are so many kids taking ADHD medicine and ADD medicine who don't need it. Its retarded. For those who have it in no way am I saying you don't, I'll I am putting out there is there's a ton of kids that don't and just need an excuse. Probably a plecibo would do the same thing for them.

But in all, if you have no idea of a kids medical background...why the fuck would you tell them to take perscription medicine. Its ridiculous. I am glad, If I ever need liver surgury or need to pop some vicodine, I could come to NS and get some quality, professional advice from 15 year olds. /sarcasm

 
ok. im sure morons will call me a pussy etc. but its a prescription med for a reason i have no idea what the side effects are, or what the potential problems are, but im guessing cracking it open and taking some of it is not a good idea. in fact, taking it at all is a risk. how about instead of wasting time asking us how much adderall to take, you sit down, focus, and get your shit done.
 
actually its a fine idea... just dont take huge doses of it

unless you have a drug test for a job in the next few days... it shows up as something, i just cant remember what it was that it showed up as.

Im not prescribed, adn the first time i took it, i took a 30mg, and was fine, soi took another...

I now take 60's. and they just last all day... So seriously...find a friend who knows his shit, adn just ask him...plus if you get the blue/white capsuls, or orange/yellow, apparently its a new kind of adderal, and its almost impossible to overdoes...so really...just take 30, and wait an hour, if it hasnt kicked in, take another...
 
my room mate toook it for the first time the other day, he took a 30mg pill, and a 5mg pill, he said he felt numbness in his left arm, and then couldnt sleep at night
 
Respectable, I don't think I have an MD and i don't use search engines though. I do know this off the top of my head but anyways. On the other hand though, I wasn't "prescribing" him anything. I was giving him a reccomendation based off my personal experience. Also 30 mg isn't dangerous at all so I didn't see the harm in it.
