Anyone take adderol or something like that because of one of these 2 problems or fuck i dont even care if you have add or adhd...

anyone found something that doesnt make your hands and feet cold?? Ritalin and Adderol both make my hands and feet cold..wtf

btw im prescribed this so dont delete my thread thinking im trying to find something out about using drugs illegally!
 
i take Adderol i used to take Ritalin.. Im trying to find something that doesnt make my hands and feet cold. Wondering if anyone has had this problem and switched to something else that doesnt do this...

yes, as a stimulant adderall shunts away blood from your extremities, making them cold. its also why you have a harder time maintaining an erection on amphetamines, and get shrinkage.
 
ya i knew that, just figured there may something that doesnt do it was bad. whatever though not really a big deal.
 
I took aderal for ADHD up until my freshman year of highschool. Around this time i would walk in first bell and it would seem like my heart was going to explode in my chest it was beating so hard. It also made me very anti-social and quiet. I honestly think that ADD and ADHD were just made up diseases to market these drugs.
 
i got adhd ..diagnosed in the 90th percentile for it to. I take a non stimulant since adderals and those tend to fuck you up pretty hard if you take them on a regular basis

it can be worse to if you already have bad circulation or high blood pressure or anything like that. your best solution would be just trying a lower dose.
 
it makes sense that it makes your hands and feet cold because the way it works is that people with ADD and ADHD blood pressure runs like your cocaine but when you take the medicine it slows down your blood pressure where in turn will most likely send out less blood to you hands and feet resulting in cold hands and feet. simple science.
 
people with add and adhd dont have blood pressure that is equal to that of someone on cocaine. simple science.
 
ya it happens to some people and not others is what im finding out. I dont get a dry throat but I do get the loss of appetite.
 
as lol as this sounds, in high school i used to wear those black dollar fuzzy cotton gloves to class when i was cold. always kept em in my backpack in case.

also you could try wearing wool or some kind of thick winter sock.

I take ADD medication every morning and now that i think about it my hands get really cold like if you hold them there cold, but to me they feel completely normal.
 
I also take concerta, 36mg. And I also have bad circulation in my hands and feet, and I have a bad apitite when I'm on it (I already knew of that sideffect).
 
well i have ADD i take conserta and I sometime feel slight depression, and lose my appetite. But i focus really good.

I try to take it everyday but sometimes i dont want to because of the side affects.

 
lol i forgot to mention the loss of appetite thing. ironic. but yeah i just eat a big breakfast and then a second dinner around 10 when i get hungry again
 
I used to see the best doctor until he went like bankrupt. Estate sale and the whole 9

He prescribed 165 20mg generic non-time released awesome ritalin a month. The math was 5.5x 20mg pills a day. They were generic so I walked out paying $5 a prescription every time.

Now every Doc bawks at those numbers, and this last fucking doctor fucking prescribed was non-generic time released 30mg ritalin and the shit SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKS. AND I had to pay $50 for fucking 30 pills. I am like what the fuck is this shit, I paid $5 for 3300mg of ritalin, now I pay $50 for 900mg of time released ritalin.

I am so fucking pissed about this shit. Makes me pissed talking about it.

I am going to be like hey

1) These don't work, it does not help me concentrate that much

2) they last forever. I don't have time to speed until 2:30 in the morning because I took my pill at 3:30 in the afternoon and I just needed to study for a few hours

3) what the fuck man $50 prescription, i hope novartis hooks you up with some of this cash.........(turns out he prescribes a drug that novartis has a patent on and only they can sell you the overpriced drug, no generics).

At least I have a good reason to tell my next psychiatrist why I left this one.........I couldn't afford his trial and error when I had a proven medication before.

WELL YAH I MEAN THATS DIFFERENT.BUT THE SCHOOL I GO TO IS SUPPOSED TO BE SUPER ACEDEMIC AND SHIT BUT I NEVER DO HOMEWORK AND I GET 80S IN MOST CLASSES.
 
Eating more peppers helps with cold hands and feet.

But you should actually stop taking that shit, It will mess you up a lot more in the long run.

 
it takes time for first 3 months my feet alway cold... also after doing coke for 3 months adderall really doesn't give me any side affects other than keeping me up lol
 
ya i take methylphenidate which is similar to all these other thing but for the 10 years, ya i know thats a longggggg time, i have been taking it i have never had any problems with focus. Also never felt any different, such as like feeling like a zombie. Really it makes me more awake and clear minded. If i never used it i probably would be failing in all classes, but with it i have been able to maintain A's and B's
 
Focalin. I found it works wonders, and no side effects (for me at least). Took adderrall for a while, it made me restless, no appetite, etc. With Focalin, none of those exist.
 
i take 70mg's of Vyvanse for my adhd. It works wonder with only 1 negative side effect, no appetite for the whole day.
 
I used to be on a high dosage of adderal from like 3rd grade till this spring. It was my decision to get off of it. The depressive withdraws from it were fucking with me.. It made me all socially awkward and shit like that. I must say I have seen a drastic change since then from not taking it. I do have a bottle of concertta I use to when I gotta crank out copious amounts of homework.
