Adapter Question

I thinking about purchasing a nikon lens to Canon body adapter but im worried about something.
i realize you cant use any auto-focus or control the lens through the body.
Does this mean that if i were to buy a NEWER nikon lens that doesn't have aperture adjustment on the lens i will NOT be able to change the aperture at all???

yes, nikon G series lenses' aperture cannot be controlled unless you buy an expensive adapter that allows electrical communication between the lens and the body
